I was just wondering if I can safely take my 10mg Ambien two hours after taking 1mg Xanax. It’s 5pm now, I also took about 5400mg Gabapentin ending around 11:30am, don’t feel much from it, and 60mg adderall at 11:30am. Would taking my Ambien be too much at this point or would I be ok to do that? I just don’t feel benzos I don’t know why I bothered taking it, I think I just thought it would help my comedown from the adderall.

Why are you taking your Ambien so early? Are you going to bed at 5 PM? I have a script for Ambien and I only take it 40 minutes before I go to bed. I don't combine it with Xanax. On the other hand I must have a high tolerance for Xanax, I barely even can tell if I take 1 mg, I have to take 2 mg to feel it.

I don’t ever feel anything from my Xanax, but never gone over 5mg, I have the same problem with all benzos and been on them for probably most my life, maybe that’s why
OK. well I am certainly not one to judge. 5 mg of Xanax is a pretty big dose. I don't feel 1 mg but definitely feel 2. 10 mg of Valium I also feel, big time.
What I might recommend is to do something to take your mind off things, housework, etc., and try and wait until it is closer to bedtime to take your meds.
Thank you, l wish I was able to do that, I’m kinda in a bad way mentally and not functioning very well or able to get out of bed much at all to do anything other than use the bathroom. I’m prescribed them both by the same Dr, just didn’t know of how safe it was or not really. Feel kinda stuck and dependent on so many different pills. I don’t like the feeling. Thank you!

I am not feeling great myself. I recently gave my 17 year old son a curfew of 9 PM. He is the captain of his wrestling team and it is wrestling season a very demanding sport.
Now he is not talking to me so yeah, I share your pain.
Kids can be assholes man, don’t take it to heart. While mine aren’t biologically mine, and much younger, I do stuff and set rules that they don’t like often and they’re always mad at me for one reason or another. Their mother is a good mom(but has a lot of problems) but can’t bring herself to discipline them because they lost their real dad a year ago and she can’t make herself do anything she thinks might upset them, so I do it all. I love them to death and I know they love me, but kids are gonna be kids and you’re always gonna be asshole dad(or mom) for being the strict parent. At the end of the day we do it because it’s in their best interest and (hopefully lol) they’ll appreciate it someday.
Not gonna lie though, when I was 17 my dad told me I had to be home by 9pm every night and I never once was unless I was sick as hell and stayed home all day. Usually crashed at a buddies or stayed at a girls house and dealt with the consequences later lol
Yeah...my wife enables him. I will go 10 O'clock when wrestling is over. He can also stay out later on special occasions. When he gets a job he can stay out later.
