yeah, i like every chem i have ever met.

the 91 is one of the best indicas/ hybrids (whatever it is... northern lights as todd mccormick and seattle greg surmise, as notsodog suggest might be the case?) available in terms of good solid medication, but i gotta admit i'm all about the chemD and chem4 stuff like tres dawg/ stardawg, etc... the head on hybrids based on them two just does me right.

for me, the D leaning stuff tends to me to be more hypnotic (not lethargic like sour diesel makes me, but a similar headspace), psychedelic kinda like how dissociatives are psychedelic but (if i pegged it) the 4 leaners seem to be more psychedelic in the way a shroom headspace is... with 20 words/ second going through the brain like biological bits bobbing by on a babbling brook. actually, gelato 33 does a similar thing oddly enough... just not AS good.

i need good head or i don't feel high.

Sour Diesel has the opposite affect on me, I get really cerebral almost haze like high. I like skywalker OG, Buddha Cheese etc as a downer. Not to mention temple ball nepolese hash...mmmmm. Salivating at the thought.

fo sho, i used to get some really amazing sour d around 20 years ago on the east coast, it had me seeing dinosaurs in the treetops and just spaced at the beauty... but the 'sour diesels' (and who knows even which sour Ds they have? there are a handful out there like chaco and ecsd for instance) i've had at the dispensaries the last few years have given me a decent head high followed by a quick crash.

there was one ("amherst" sour diesel, iirc) that made me depressed and anxious, and the budtender even told me another customer said the same thing.

idfk... i've just decided i need to grow some stardawg and maybe get some of those chemDD x 4 crosses (contra d, c4dd4) from verdant green if i can... cause finding solid chem strains commercially can be tough when the market is flooded with dessert strains (gelato 33 as recommended by the famous [infamous? lol he's one hell of a dude and i love him] tom hill and a handful of others aside, [blissful wizard gets an honorable mention]).

oooo, gotta try em. i like a few OG strains, some don't sit well with me. some super high myrcene strains seem to mess with me. some gsc ones, for example.

i'm like skunkVA (the guy who the original chem91 'skunkVA' cut is named for), the chems just work for my body chemistry.

would love to try legit british cheese one day. and i'm always down for an exotic tropical sativa or to try a super knockout couchlock indica or hybrid (really dark rso tends to have me zZzzZonked for many hours, spexially mixed with cbc), {maybe one day i'll grow a deep chunk and take it way too far like 99.9999% amber trichs or some shit lol}

ooo i just wish. ace seeds sells a couple nepali hybrids, or one day maybe i'll get some from the real seed company and sift through their indian and nepali strains for decades until i find a couple keepers or something...

o, here i go rambling.

it's the gelato33 with the pink guava sugar (and i saved a tiny bit of star 91 which is just what it sounds like, chem 91 and stardawg well mixed together) bowl, almost the last of my good weed.

i know it's not technically morning anymore, but i re- upped and toked on some ONYCD (that's ORIGINAL new york city diesel, prolly jjnyc throwing shade at soma and his claim to fame, nycd, i'm guessing)...

speaking of chems n things, ooooEEEEEEY i forgot how much i like this stuff. one bowl pack of flower is all i need to get EXACTLY where i need, medicine wise: relaxed, hypnotic, (muscle/ joint pain- wise) relieved, and high enough to know i'm high while still functional (i just won @ candyland, takes a lotta skill).

just perfect.

for those that care about strain lineages and shit:

ONYCD is [chem91 x tres dawg]... and tres dawg is basically a chemD backcross, iirc so onycd is kinda like the reciprocal of dog patch [by skunkVA's lucky dog seeds], which is also an amazing strain.

You sir are forbidden too mention your hash. . Every time I get so jelly. Hash by me is rare and it's mostly from Mozambique. So no idea what strain or maybe landrace obviously but that stuff is full downer. Had Moroccan hash only twice and loved it!

Heading to this meet& greet/orientation type thing for the next contract I'll be doing for work. Should hopefully go smoothly and then I'll be able to start with this other company for medium-long term. I think I'll get a small pay bump, and also be doing work that's a little more in my wheelhouse, so should be all good things.
 
did a couple bong rips of gelato 33, and i got good and high (one of my new favorite commercial hybrids) but when i walked back from dropping le kids off at the bus stop, i realized i was missing something...

packed a bowl of gelato 33 and added some ONYCD!!!!

and even that little bit from the chem side of things (of course) got me where i need to be.

again with the functional relaxation, and that... hmm... first four chakrah massage?

the hypnotic introspection; and not that violent introspection kinda from like a dense yet zippy sativa or a dutch (a5?) haze type hybrid; less profound and more just pleasant and functional and slightly euphoric. feels very anti- inflammatory, my joints again feel better.

for me, weed is truly the painkiller: opioids do a good job at distracting me from pain, but weed can sometimes COMPLETELY OBLITERATE certain types of pain.

and then i had the munchies and ate a non- chocolate chip chocolate chip cookie (my wife loves me) with some junior mints and then remembered i had some veggie drunken noodles (with added pork) leftover.

feelin pretty nice rn.
