Wanted to post THAt one, new it would be futile as i began scrawling the pages.

Sounds to me that It’s about a girlfriend who exited but never left the stage due to an addiction and effect this had on Strings. Strings then ends up a mess later with substance issues of his own .

My take is it’s about never being able to have a love because one or the other was space cadetted and not spiritually or emotionally there due to substance abuse.

Mistakes in live/ not emotionally/ spiritually there, i think your interpration fits best.
