Mental Health Coming off Invega (Paliperidone, Xeplion) injections v. 7.0

I got 2 shots of invega 2 months ago and since I’ve lost my personality, had severe anhedonia, akathisia, insomnia, cognitive impairment and muscle weakness. Has anyone else gone through this and made a full recovery? It’s hard to have hope in this state.

You should be okay since you only had 2 shots you will be a completely new person at 12 months off make sure to explain to whoever your living with your gonna need a year to lay low and chill and not have any responsibilities before you know it you will be feeling better man

Because anhedonia is a feeling I will never forget as long as I live I dreaded that worse than any other symptom by far, my emotions have yet to fully return but I’m able to cry and tear up when something happens that’s very emotional the anhedonia I had was way more extreme than just not being able to feel emotions everything was completely flat and grey

There is no way I can prove it to you lol I’m telling you what else do you want me to do I can feel the good feeling sensation of an orgasm which I couldn’t feel for 13 months I didn’t think it would recover but it did
 
Is it true we could be more sensitive to dopamine once the drug has left our system as our brains create more receptors to compensate for the blocked ones? Has anyone experienced this

I am currently recovering I had 4 shots 234 156 234 234 which is quite a lot I’m 14.5 months off I am a lot better and able to enjoy certain things not quite back to pre invega I recovered my libido and ability to enjoy sex at 13 months I recovered my cognitive abilities at 11-12 months and recovered my ability to feel a nicotine buzz at 13 months it gets noticeably better at 10 months since you had less shots I think you should notice a big improvement at 6 months off

Alot of people get psychotic again month 8 - 12 due to rebound psychosis but i dont believe this is due to too high dopamine sensitivity if anything i felt my dopamine was lowered compared to pre invega . There is alot of evidence psychosis is caused by a lack of dopamine and not excess of. Make sure you behave well dont act odd and make sure you dont have rebounds dont get shot up again

So i had three shots of invega sustena and two shots of invega trinza. My last shot was 30 november, and since it lasts three months, now it 3 months and 2 weeks since i am off the drug. So far the recovery is: a had two windows wich was an hour of happines and 15 minuts of feeling joy. Got my period, and lost my invega weight( wich i dont care since i have great anhedonia, and lost of emotions) Besides that i feel same. Lay in bed all day, great anhedonia, moved with my sister she is taking care of me. Is this progres guys what do you think when will i get a little better?

If you got your period and lost the weight I see that as improvement. I haven’t lost weight and I’m 9 months off. You may have a faster recovery than you originally thought.
