Yeah suffered withdrawals and heavy rebound psychosis because they cold turkeyed me off meds without taper
i also believed i had psychosis but no doctor agreed i have psychosis
Did you recover from invega?

Well its been 14.5 months for me and when I wake up in the am and hit my vape I can get a nicotine buzz which I wasn’t able to for 14 months as far as a dopamine rush it’s hard to say I still cant feel the effects of caffeine or really get an adrenaline rush yet I have heard of people taking two years to recover it so we will see the only thing that helps is time I was completely bed ridden for 10 months (extreme) with no hope thinking this last forever once you hit a year u should start seeing some light at the end of the tunnel I really believe I would never get any better until about 12 months the anhedonia started to let up which is the worst thing I was dealing with by far I was able to loose the 20 pounds at about 11 months I would say I notice the thing that helps the most is making sure to eat it made it so I was never hungry after a while and now I’m able to become hungry thirsty and also tired I wasn’t able to feel tired for 12 months now my sleep has returned I also can wake up with erections again and be able to enjoy sex (13 months) I’m not sure if anyone ever returns to pre invega but you can come back enough to enjoy life again and get joy out of certain things but I truly believe we should all come together and file a lawsuit as invega clearly causes permanent damage and that first 8-10 months is worse than anything I could possibly imagine I am certain many people have committed suicide from this it puts you in constant suicidal ideation for 8 months but just know it gets better it’s best to explain to whoever your living with you need a year to not be required to do anything that takes any amount or responsibility because it’s nearly impossible you can’t trick your mind when dealing with this it just doesn’t work, you get no dopamine from working out eating healthy vitamins nothing is going to work while invega is still in your blood I believe it is in your system at least a year and I think it takes another year for your receptors to repair themselves the best they can and possibly many years to come back to pre invega hang in there and take it easy make sure to eat and drink as much as possible and try and get the most sleep you can it took a long while before I could sleep for periods longer than an hour at a time
How many shots did you take? I took two shots in the summer of 2020 and I recovered in about 3-4 months. Now I’ve taken 20+ shots of Abilify Maintena (400 mg) and I know it’s gonna take me a long ass time to recover. It’s fucked me up in every way

Been going gym for 2 weeks now, cardio training lost 2kg. Start weight 76kg current weight 74kg, I'm 179cm. Fuck invega im gaining gainz out here mofo nothings stopping me going strong pushing myself even though its harder to find motivation while invega is still in your system but I get up from bed 8am in the monring sleep at 11pm everyday good sleep routine. nearly 5 months off this injection and already feeling better like my old self 50% recovered after 10 injections yeah fk invega. Its not gonna stop me from getting a lean body.

Don't lay in bed all day get up go to the gym, go park have a walk in the nature eat healthy take multi vitamins socialize better yourself dont let this invega put u down. I know its hard but you gotta push yourself

I’m so happy to hear it only took 3-4 months to recover.

Sad to hear you have a long road ahead with abilify. Stay strong and keep pushing.

How dod you feel at the beggining? Wete you bedridden?

At 3 months off I could feel a little bit from certain music (it was not worth for anything but (VERY) small distraction from pain and suffering), I were around 5% recovered.

At 3 months off, any way to decrease that extreme suffering was good choice for me, that's what you people should be doing at beginning.
Even if it just decreases it insignificantly, at least it decreases it.

Hard for me to believe you recovered in 4 months the shot isn’t out of your system at that time maybe you needed it? Do you suffer from schizophrenia?

Was it ever hard for you to hold a conversation or did you feel awkward in those situations? That part kept me out of the public the first 10 months while coming off

How the hell you were able to have 76kg start weight most people who take that many shots turn into a whale lmfao

You keep saying you have to deal with the under lying issue but the under lying issues probably are a disease that need to be medicated so your posts make zero sense to me. They actually aggravate me to read. Doctors lose patience with ppl when they’re in psychosis and throw Invega Sustenna at them when they could’ve just tried different pills. Not everyone needs to be medicated or has an underlying disease! Just because you suffered from paranoia and all these weird thoughts doesn’t mean other did. Usually paranoid thoughts and things is schizophrenia and you can’t “fix” the root of the problem…it’s literally a brain disease and your brain malfunctions there’s no amount of talk therapy that’s going to get rid of those thoughts from attacking your brain or delusions coming on. Same with bi polar psychosis. Or schizoaffective. So you always talk about “fixing” the problem is sorta delusional thinking.

I started taking ss 31 it is a peptide I recommend everyone here take it could be the breakthrough in healing been a week and I feel amazing afterwards it’s cutting edge
What is ss 31? Do you still feel the same way about it?

I’m sure you will recover from invega, that’s just a matter of time no need to worry.

I worry more about the actual disease than the side effects of the drug. Maybe that’s why I am feeling better.

I’m just trying to be realistic. You want me to believe everybody here is misdiagnosed and that doctors are all crazy? I can’t do that.

No disrespect to the sufferers I know this drug is too harsh and overkill. But there is a reason why they gave it to us. No point in denying that fact
You're not being completely realistic because you are stuck in hyperbole. Misdiagnoses DO happen, it happened to me. Sometimes, people ARENT misdiagnosed. Both can be true.

The reason they gave me invega sustenna is because my mom said she didn't trust me to take risperidal pills. They pressured me into taking it and I wanted to please my parents. If I had known any of its effects, I would have rather gone to jail. This drug should only be given to those who have been on APs long term and have found them ineffective. When viewing its detrimental effects , I think we should all be able to agree that any doctor who gives this med to a sufferer or first time psychosis (or off-label for anything) is experiencing a disconnect with reality

Nah I’ve only had psychosis twice in the summer of 2020. And that was after coming off of Invega. Antipsychotics give you psychotic symptoms you didn’t have before. I never had psychosis prior to being injected with Invega Sustenna. I was a targeted individual and was forced onto the antipsychotics by God and if I come off of them then I get doomed 5 1/2- 6 months later

It was hard at the start my mind was empty nothing to say but as im been off the injection its gone better i can say more stuff

Actually invega never made me gain weight just hit me differently

Has anyone recovered 100% ? All I see is people that recovered to around 75-80 and are content. I’m to believe that a full recovery to pre Invega is extremely rare 😕
