🌟🌟 Social 🌟🌟 What TV Shows are You Binging v. Cut That Cord!

Babylon Berlin anyone? It s set during the last years of the Weimar Republic, starting in 1929, is a noir -detective story but there s way more, a nation in shambles, political conspiracies, almost everyone has PTSD due to the First World War (including the protagonist, detective Rath) and - or is starving (including Charlotte, police clerk by day sex worker by night), the rise of nazism, the inexorable decay of a weak democracy, esoterism and a shitload of drugs, especially Pervitin (which I guess is meth right?) Season 1 an 2 are amazing, season 3 is kinda slow but for the last three episodes and I m currently binging the forth season, which so far is excellent....
Thanks! Enjoying it rn

Today i played around with my amazon firestick max 4k all day. i ended up watching 6 episodes of Rick and Morty. I hadn't actually seen it before.

It's pretty funny I think I am going to enjoy the rest of the episodes. I reccomend it.

Got some theoretical field, space, time, light, dark content playing in the background on a youtube program that nixes all adverts and the rest of the BS that comes with youtube.
Not a plug but its call "smarttubenext" and can be found on github if interested. Free and open source.

I had been using Firefox with the ublock origin plugin to block YouTube ads on all my windows and android devices. The downside is that Firefox for android tv really requires a mouse so I was using a miniature Bluetooth keyboard/touchpad.

I decided to try this software after your recommendation and I'm using it right now! It's perfect! It also works great with the fire stick remote and my ps4 controller.

Thanks for the recommend.I had seen this before but didn't try it until today.

Very cool. 😎 cheers

I've been watching a very campy sci-fi TV series from 1973 called The Starlost. I watched it back when it was first aired and promptly forgot all about it. It's very MST3K worthy. The acting is stiff, production make Classic Doctor Who look good. The "high points of the series is when "Checkov from Classic Star Trek" makes two guest appearances as an "alien" who dresses in a gold space suit that calls himself "Oro".

They have a computer Kiosk Help Desk system that steals the show at times because it is very condescending and often quite unhelpful.

Definitely Guilty Pleasure class TV at it's finest, LOL...

So I saw up until season 2 of Babylon Berlin which was really fun, I'll be continuing that soon.
I started Mr. Inbetween which was okay once you manage to look past its flaws and just enjoy it for what it is, but the third season was quite boring, don't know if I should finish it..

Now, thinking of starting Veep, never actually gave it a shot.

The Alienist - found in accidentally, and it's so good. If you like detective genre - it's worth watching

Not binging as there is no time ATM
But... Silo, and a coupla other shows that don't come to mind.
Also some ad free video content for mind and body health, to learn what self love may look like, mindfulness (shit is new to me, damn someone gotta break it down like I'm a three year old ffs) and some content that I let play for a few hours that are at different hz waves. Shits the bomb for sleep. :)
wtfe
Peace

Started watching The Shield again, I stopped around the end of S4 maybe 5 years ago.
Season 5 now, up to speed again with this iconic pilot scene :)
