hows everyones anhedonia??
My motivation and interest in doing the usual activities is definitely not the same as it was prior, however just recently within the past few days after 4 months it's improved sufficiently that I'm capable of focusing on tasks for longer than I could at first, and even started doing certain routines I once did that I originally felt too unmotivated or lazy to do. For example I used to habitually brush my teeth, shower, shave, go to the gym, etc. on a daily basis with no issues whatsoever. After the injection my anhedonia became so severe that I completely neglected myself, essentially just being bed-ridden almost all day and night. I regret the fact that I stopped caring for myself for several months in a row but considering how poor my overall health was there wasn't much I could do otherwise.
I don't know why my case is so bad. I stopped xeplion at month 5, that is the 13th December 2021 and I didn't even recover my sleep. I think that without sleep no improvement is possible. So I keep thinking on kms.
I genuinely hope there eventually comes a point where you recover your ability to sleep normally. For the first few days after initially getting injected with invega I literally got no sleep whatsoever, not even microsleep. Afterwards like a month or two after once every few nights I felt myself dozing off for minutes at a time and occasionally I'd even have a dream or two. It took me a total of nearly 4 months before I was finally able to at least get somewhere around 3 to 4 mabye even 5 hours of sleep if I'm lucky. I too constantly contemplated the idea of harming myself at first, thinking I had no chance of recovering if I could never enter a restful state of sleep, but thankfully I'm managing to recover, albeit slowly. Hopefully the same applies to you, so just hang in there as difficult as this situation may seem.
start exercising running high intense
I'm considering going back to the gym as it's been a good 4 months since the last time I ever attempted to go. I used to do weightlifting, cardio, and other machine-based exercises for one and a half to two hours or even more on occasions, but the last time I went was a week after being injected with invega, when I noticed how much strength and stamina I had suddenly lost. I even began to feel extremely lightheaded and nearly blacked out after doing cardio which has never happened to me before, nor should it have happened either. I lost my ability to sleep normally not immediately after getting injected, but rather the first time I excercised after the injection, leading me to believe that a large amount of invega was released from the injection site when I exerted myself causing that damage. I'm concerned that it'll happen again if I return to the gym but who knows.
