I know women who enjoy anal sex, but they aren't common. Most women are dabblers, or not at all. Men have thicker rectal tissues than women because of testosterone, so women are more prone to injury from anal sex. Men also have a g-spot via anal which makes more sense to me. I really don't understand what some women get out of it besides the psychological aspect. I second the above suggestion that if you want your gf to explore anal sex for the first time then she should probably try toys on herself first.
