Football 22-23 NFL Discussion Thread

I've been reading that the coin toss is a more fool proof way of determining the winner than any other aspect. Something like the last 5 or so consecutive SB's were won by the winner of the coin toss. If you wanna bet, maybe bet based on the coin toss.

Also read that whichever team wears a white jersey is more likely win the SB, the record is like 20-36 or some shit. Of course the last time the Iggles won, they wore green jerseys. So this stat isn't fool proof. And they will be wearing green jerseys on Sunday so we'll see how it pans out.

Oh yeah my favorite is the octopus who guessed the World Cup winner four times in a row of course they didn't give it Morocco to choose between
 
Why the Chiefs should win:

Patrick Mahomes is motivated. Appearing is in his third Super Bowl at 27 which is the same age but about 100 days younger than Tom Brady was when he did it in 2003 (and won)
 
Another reason is the Kansas City fans, probably the least annoying fan base and some of them are really cool at least the ones I've met. I don't know anything about Philadelphia Eagles fans. Just the way they were portrayed in Silver Linings Playbook which is a really good movie. It leaves me feeling that Eagles fans are like the Raiders' fans of the East Coast only Raiders fans are nicer

Sounds kind of like a vision quest except instead of retreating to the wilderness alone, he will be holed up in a dark room.
 
FYI @ions is on beer number 9 and so the over-under for how much of the game he is awake to see probably needs to be changed from the Vegas line of halftime

You guys need to remember that I drank 20 miller lite tall boys in one day at froggy. I say I go to bed before the game ends. But i'll be awake til the end.

Just don't freak out if you see a couple of commercials for Jesus during the Superbowl, because they are real commercials, you didn't hallucinate it!
