Mental Health Coming off Invega (Paliperidone, Xeplion) injections v 6.0

I’m trying to think back to when I was six months off Invega Sustenna and that is when I was on Geodon and it was hell for me…I was drinking a lot of Champagne and going to fancy restaurants and being really social and I would just end up slurring my words a lot not from the champagne but from the Invega Sustenna…nothing seemed fun at all and it was still the hell phase for me geodon was brutal so I’m guessing that had alot to do with it.

Some people here received only 2 or 3 injections, that's why they're are mostly recovered, but will they be fully recovered like they were before the shots? probably not.
If someone is claiming to be fully recovered, they either forgot how they were before, or they're lying.
After 1.5 - 2 years, you'll most likely forget you're former self.
I want to believe in full recovery, but it's just not possible. I'm sorry to break it to you guys.
Ask @dirtyinvega for example.
No major improvements yet, I think 6 months is enough time to start seeing improvements, but I'll let you guys know how it goes for me.v

I was on the invega shots for 3 months and then on abilify shots for something like 2 years. i have recovered from anhedonia fully and my sex drive is back to what is was when i was a teenager. So no i am not lying when i say i have recovered 100%. That is just bullshit

My friend received 2 shots in mid 2021, he was super fucked up during those days.he was overweight, there wasn't a single drug that had an effect on him, anhedonia, depression and all the usual symptoms that come with it).I saw him today after a long period that he was away ( 1 year rehab stint and 3 months since he's been out) He's better than ever, fit, doing exercise and recently moved out from his parents house. Life couldn't be better for him, recovery is INDEED possible. I've seen it firsthand, keep battling guys. 🥰

The only symptom i am still getting is the shitty attension bpan but mine was never good to begin with really

U still using any drugs? My mate is so far clean from everything except a bit of alcohol, some cigs and that's it. No Marijuana, ketamine nor opiates which were his demise and got him into rehab.

Ya though i havent had any coke in over a year now and likely wont be getting any for awile do to circumstances beyond my control. Right now i get morphine but only 30mg's a day not enough to get addicted to, clonaz and zopiclone all prescribed. I didnt think i was going to get any of my meds when i first got out of the psych ward as the shrink in there thought i was a total drug addict and wouldnt even bring it up with my gp who at the time was a horrible cunt or my shrink. But when i told my shrink that i had trouble sleeping and anxiety all he asked me was what did i take for it in the past and he put me on clonaz and zopiclone right away.

I eventually got sense enough to switch gp's to and when i did the doctor put me back on mscontin right away. Well not actually right away he wanted to see if a lidocaine nasal spray combined with gabapentin and weed would help first He was actually pro weed unlike the shrink in the psych ward who diagnosed me and another guy with weed psychosis ffs. When i couldnt affoerd the nasal spray then he put me back on morphine though only 30mgs a day.O smoke weed everyday to and drink like maybe once every few weeks.

I was doing way to much coke though when i first got out of the psych ward as i saw it for making up lost time lol. I did huge shots like a 1/3rd of a gram and had atleast 2 seizures one resulting in a visit to the er as my dad found me seizing on the floor. When i got out of the hospital i did another huge shot of coke and almost had another seizure lol

U got lucky with your shrink, I've noticed thst most doctors are judgemental motherfkers and treat you like scum if you are a drug addict and got a bad medical record(this is a worldwide thing).
Mannnn, you're story is so fkinh similar as mine. I ended up on a psych ward for 47 days. Same reason as you, really bad seizure with my head banging against the floor and I went batshit crazy after a coke shot. I smashed my window with a chair,it was as if I was fking posessed. Selfharmed myself really bad. I feel you brother, I'm not cuckoo but iv coke turned Me into a monster. drugs have taken a really severe toll on my body, I'm still relatively young(I turn 29 this year) but I'm slowly recovering from so much hedonism during my early 20s and now I'm trying to find the correct path before I turn 30. I truly hope ure doing better too man, stay safe brother. Much love, nico xx

I smashed my window with a chair and Slashed my wrists really bad, it was as if I was fking posessed. Selfharmed myself really bad and I almost died from a hemorrhage. I feel you brother, I'm not cuckoo but iv coke turned Me into a monster. Thank God I can get my clonaz and opiates otc here in southamerica but drugs have taken a really severe toll on my body, I'm still relatively young(I turn 29 this year) but I'm slowly recovering from so much hedonism during my early 20s and now I'm trying to find the correct path before I turn 30. P.S I'm on 90mg morphine a day and 2-6mg clonaz depending on the day. Gabapentin sometimes I take it when I run out of opiates, I still indulge sometimes in other drugs like xtc, shrooms on special ocassions and drink on regularly lols

i only had to go to the er not the psych ward for the coke seizure thank fuck. I guess it wasent classified as psychiatric. I had psychosis and cotards syndrome not related to drug use thats why i was there in the psych ward.

If you stop the abilify pills OR lower the dose to 5mg you will regain your libido in matter of weeks

After 1.5 year off you should notice big difference even if it is not recovery, it is easier. But keep in mind every month it should get a bit easier so it stacks up and at 1.5 year off there should be big difference.

Meditation and mindfulness only makes things worse I have tried that many times and it only given akathisia and flashbacks, it didn't help at all. Only time and healthy lifestyle will allow your body to recover small parts of yourself every month even being it 3%, it will stack and end and you will be 100% after some time I believe.

True but you did say you didn’t believe in 100% recovery that’s probably cause of some of the negative posts you read it’s not on you, if you’re still taking 15mg ability you won’t recover 100% if you can I’d try to talk to your doctor and maybe taper off, the post with all the people who recovered is on page 86.
