From what I read Invega only binds on to D2, D3 receptors theres 5 receptors and it only binds on to two of them.

That’s what big pharma will tell you but it’s bs it blocks many dopamine, serotonin, and adrenaline receptors I feel like it blocks gaba too cause I had terrible restlessness after being injected and I took a benzo to see if it would help but I didn’t feel it at all and benzos act on gaba not dopamine, Invega makes it so all the chemicals in your brain and blocked therefore you can’t function the makers of invega were payed by the government to give people invega as a “keep them out of jail drug” cause in there eyes people with psychosis and schizophrenia are more likely to go to jail but I have friends and seen many people online with psychosis and schizophrenia and the majority of them aren’t violent there’s a stigma behind people with this condition it kind of reminds me of racism in a way.

I guess it's good if I can feel myself starting to get an erection lol. Like at least blood flows to it.

Blocks opiod receptors as well because kratom stopped working all these medications screw up your head but also mess one up sexually.
If kratom was working before then it doesn't block opioid receptors. If it blocked the g protein-coupled receptors then Invega wouldnt even work. I don't think it blocks them. Blocking opioid receptors have no benefit in reducing psychotic symptoms.

Ya I don’t think invega blocks opioid receptors but it blocks dopamine and serotonin so you wouldn’t get euphoria from kratom anyway I’d definitely recommend staying away from kratom and opioids in general it’s some fucked shit and quitting them cold turkey landed me in psychosis.

does anyone know how being on antipsychotics changes fat distribution in the body? I’ve weighed 114lbs before antipsychotics and my face didn’t look like it had this much fat on it… I feel like Invega Sustenna ruined the way my body metabolizes and changed my face.

I'm almost 6 months off and I still have a bloated looking cheeks (Just a little bit) and a little belly.
Before Xeplion my belly was completely flat and you could see my cheek bones. Now it's like I have that layer of fat on top of my cheek bones and it won't burn away. It's driving me nuts.

Yeah Invega makes you put on weight thats why your face looks chubby but no means it makes you uglier well in my case I havent noticed that.

What are you still dealing with? Are you able to feel emotions or joy? Can you feel the effects of caffeine or other substances
Yea I can feel the effects of all of any substance I take such as caffeine, etc. the emotions and joy is pretty good but it’s not where I want it to be, it may be due to external factors however like a welcoming home or healthy environment.

Do you exercise regularly, have a routine, eat healthy, sleep well, and socialize with others? Did you do these things while on the injection?
Yea I have a regular exercise routine. I use barbells and/or dumbbells for strength and treadmill or bike for cardio. For my diet I try to eat as much of healthy foods as possible using peppers and vegetables as spices and adding lots of protein with fruits daily. I sleep ok but as of now I do socialize more then I was when I first took the injections due to side effects, then I had just focused on myself and tried to work out my body, mind, and spirit. As the months grew I began to feel much better and was able to actually get out into the world and express myself with friends and family but it’s ok to take all the time you need for to use it as your advantage in recovery in the meantime you will notice change in yourself for the better.

Hey Monty how long have you been off the injection?

I feel like the eyes and the face wouldn’t have changed if it wasn’t for Invega Sustenna. It’s been a year and it hasn’t improved. That’s why I think the damage is permanent. I look like two different people in my licence photo. It totally changed my face and my eyes.

do some of you have that mild ringing in the ears? at first month i didint noticed coz of that feelingless state, but now as i get better i started to notice this background noise in the ears, who got recovered from this madness does that noise went away?

Hey how’s everyone doing? I hope you all had a better day. Invega recovery is tough; I know. NoFap really helped me throughout. Honestly I found olanzapine to be worse than Invega.

I’m sorry for using you all for publicity. It was a big mistake and to those all out of recovery congrats!

I no longer believe in forced medication but I believe Invega is alright actually. The worst effects were weight gain and no tears.

The reason I’ve switched paths is trial; error; and a different way of living.
