what am I lying about?Sorry - cannot put up with liars. Not such transparent ones, especially.
It is not the procedure that's challenging. The hard part is procuring all the necessary reagents without attracting unwanted attention.Yeah - in fact you can make it in 1 step - a reductive amination. Simple.

Think a la clandestine. If it were so easy such labs would be more common.Yeah - but if it's in subgrad chemistry books.... it's hardly difficult to acquire.
All due respect, but hubris risks attracting over-zealous types. But I agree the risk is small if you know what you're doing. One think I DO know is what laws I am in danger of falling foul to.
Federal US law viz. conspiracy and "overt acts of furtherance" can be found in 18 U.S.C. § 371.Furtherance from that which is patented and in textbooks....
Granted pedantic wankers exist, but you are perhaps overreacting and misreading friendliness for a pissing contest. We're on the same team, CapitanoJust an attempt to assert superior knowledge.
Metric? Not in 'Murrica, buddy. We prefer Imperial with zero irony, thank ya!I don't - I provide the information. That being the metric chemists work by to whit - facile routes.
Be that as it may, fuck ordering "1-phenylcyclohexa"-any-goddamn-thing w/o legit purposes for it. Shit = hot as a fucking firecracker. WTF else would one be doing with that?Anyway, 1-phenylcyclohexan-1-amine isn't a listed precursor so reductive amination with acetaldehyde.... for PCC. Not hard.

J/k. Tangential: are you familiar with the story of Hobart Huson? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobart_Huson

I read an article yrs ago about how we forget how ignorance feels and take the info for granted. Teachers often struggle to empathize w/students as a result.
What I'm saying is: it takes conscious effort to be patient as an educator. Have a great day!
To be clear, I wasn't speaking for myself and didn't take it that way. I was trying to tell @Fertile that I interpreted @Delmonte421's comments to be one of friendliness. I was encouraging the peace, believe it or not, and have no personal/emotional investment in this discussion.Don't want to speak for him but I'm not sure his post was directed at you, there was an exchange that has since been deleted.
I was being friendly but it seems this place is a toxic place for peaceful conversions. PEACE and LOVE is where I come from and my chemistry knowledge is more geared to cancer research not illicit drug synthesis, sorry. Thats not what I went to school to do with my life.To be clear, I wasn't speaking for myself and didn't take it that way. p.s., I feel badly about AD's sudden and dramatic departure from the site, but I'll address this elsewhere. Thanks for offering clarity all the same![]()
I know. Did you misread my comment? I was defending your comment as friendly. That's what I was saying. Relax, we're all just chitchatting. @Fertile gets a little worked up from time to time, but don't take it personally.I was being friendly
Not at all. Where do you get that impression? One person's disagreement? Meh. Like they say in AA: if it doesn't apply, let it fly.but it seems this place is a toxic place for peaceful conversions.
Well, yeah, I mean nobody majors in clandestine chemistry in school; they don't really offer that course program last I checked, lol. Anyway, this is all hypothetical and besides, organic chemistry is organic chemistry. Your education is very much welcome here and appreciated. Thanks for the nice comments. I'm a radio-chemist so I did do organic work in graduate school but as a radiochemist I need to know more about how to not only synthesis these molecules which uses simple organic reactions like grindards, and coupling reactions, SN1 Flouro reactions but with radio active atoms. It called targeted radio therapy. Diagnostic and theranostic therapy is the correct terms. The reason I say this is they actually do pretty cool work with carfentanil by radiolabeling it with a radioactive carbon and using a PET scanner to see where the radioactive opioid goes which I believe is the D1,2 receptors in the brain. here is the publication for referenceI know. That story with the MDMA and it being K is crazy lol well thats what you get when you can't wait the extra 15 minutes to just eat it lol jk but main blowing MDMA that shit BURNS like a MF. I just recently at my late age tried K because I was instresed in the antidepressant effects of it and wanted to personally fully understand it. I do love it! BUT I only do it with other drugs so like if I go on an MDMA binge, like 2-3 E pills or like a 750mg-1250mg over the course of a couple hours, ill end with the K OR LSD. Its a weird ritual of mine but the K and LSD I always felt helped me at the end of there MDMA to "rewrite" my brain by way of its increase in neuroplasticity. I also have ended up in the ER from panic attacks too unfortunately and now always have to have Xanax with me. Back to PCP, I smoked PCP when I was in my 20's as an African american its still very much around still in my families cirlces. Some relatives who live through out America in some of our major cities who may not be as educated as me seem to like it and use it occasionally. I know people who would smoke dust daily iff they could. But then again it's very much a inner city African American drug.Good read. I was a but surprised when I saw there was 114 replies here. It's a good question. PCP was once a pretty big drug, and considered problematic in the media and police forces due to it's users having seemingly superhuman strength and out of their trees. There was a lot of serious confrontations with this.
I wonder if PCP was a bigger drug still if there would be a greater incidence of ‘police brutality’ aka shot to death in a dissociative induced rampage.
I've used plenty of K and some DXM at a few different points in my life. I take it that the energy levels would go like K ---> DXM ---> PCP and the sheer potency levels DXM ---> K ---> PCP.
I think that makes PCP a no go for me. I wouldn't want something more potent than K because I find the experience of it to be kind of disturbing at times (not a bug fan of it anymore) and having a huge urge to get active in a state even more extreme would be a problem. Maybe people figured out over time how harsh a drug it is and that's a part of the reason why its population waned in the early 2000s in my parts.
It's a bit like acid here regarding it's popularity. Acid is having somewhat the resurgence in recent years, but it's nowhere near the mega popular drug it was in the 70s / 80s / early to mid 90s.
Clearly the influx of the big 3 which are coke/crack, opioids, and meth have major factors in this too. Crack got huge around the time PCP went out of style and stayed that way til the 2010s when meth took over on the stims front and the Purdue Oxycontin EpIdemic began around that time too. K was a mega popular drug in my area through the 2000s through the early 2010s as well which is when I got turned onto that.
I was 15 living in a beach town by the beach and I got started by wheeling around a back road doing bumps from a vial in 2007. I used K many times between 07 to 09 or 10 and then a couple reintroductions in 2017 via darknet and 2021 when I picked some up. Accidentally. I asked for Molly in this ‘party pack’ which was a bunch of different things and my guy ran out so he substituted K. I did a couple lines of Molly not noticing the Color difference of my substance and I went into a K hole!
Terrifying experience.
Sorry for the rambling disclosure of personal history in timelines it’s just how I organize my memories and think.
For a variety of reasons, drugs literally go in and out of style. I can see disassociating drugs coming back onto the first potentially and especially in certain groups like lgbtq for instance where K is fairly popular.. but it’ll be something new. The RC circuit is going to have a few things become mainstream like carfent has in recent years and a good disassociative is perfectly plausible to be in that mix.
I predict new drugs!
How is the scene regarding addiction or dependence there? I've only seen a couple accounts of PCP addiction and it looks very tough and very tough to navigate mentally. That story with the MDMA and it being K is crazy lol well thats what you get when you can't wait the extra 15 minutes to just eat it lol jk but main blowing MDMA that shit BURNS like a MF. I don't know anyone so to say addicted to PCP lol I mean Stanley Williams is the famous guy who was addicted to PCP.How is the scene regarding addiction or dependence there? I've only seen a couple accounts of PCP addiction and it looks very tough and very tough to navigate mentally.
You mean Tookie. Well but so there's Big Lurch and there's that one Wu-Tang associate who chopped off his own member high on PCP…I don't know anyone so to say addicted to PCP lol I mean Stanley Williams is the famous guy who was addicted to PCP.
