In my careful desperation,
this old leash I gave a name
Can you smell the rain
that will drown us tonight?
In your diamond studded choker,
the chain rattle soothingly
Honey, won't you beg,
won't you beg like you believe?

And tonight we paint rapture,
dip your feathers in gold
And tonight nothing matters,
show me how you destroy

In the grace I surrender,
sun-kissed lips full of cracks
Glossy pink smeared with red,
bleed your mercy on me
In the third act comes closure,
and we keep pushing it off
There's no happy endings
for villains like us

And tonight we paint rapture,
for everything that we stole
And tonight nothing matters,
show me how you destroy

Man I miss you in some way. Not sure whats going on in life for you atm but I always have you in the back of my head somehow.
Rarity is obvious to me....

the writing sounds too merged, feels like an extension of at least 5 other of their writings.
maybe from your point of view (which is not to invalidate).
my views are that it is all connected in some way but more exspansive.
