Seems strange or interesting to me that they give you two benzos; maybe you can ask them why. Otherwise, I tend to think that your doctor knows what they're doing for the most part. Still, that's not much sleep at all. There also might be something else going on, like depression. All good things to bring up, I would guess.
I was given 3 different Benzos at one point diaz loraz and tamaz. Please don’t kick me off already but why would you think a psych knows what they’re doing after giving people this disgusting brain numbing soul stripping poison. My psychs at least have been evil nothing else

St John’s Wort, exercise, healthy eating & green tea.
Firstly hello and welcome to the thread Missy! I'm glad you've started posting after all these years <3
The regime you posted above is an excellent start, and it could be all you need to recover fully! It will still take time though. When was your last invega shot?

Depends on supplements you take, I take a lot for long time and have no issues.
I agree. I go through phases of taking a whole bunch of supplements every day. You just need to do your research and make sure whatever you're taking is all safe to be taken together, no doubling up on anything, no contraindications with your prescription meds, etc.

Have you tried zzzquil?
I have some trouble sleeping too and this usually works. 50mg or 2 pills should make you drowsy in half an hour.
I'm not sure what zzzquil is but I think it's an over-the-counter medication?? There are lots of over-the-counter meds that can help with sleep, it doesn't have to be hardcore prescription drugs like benzos or z-drugs. I have always had insomnia my whole life and my fave sleep medication is doxylamine which is over-the-counter.

But this is not a little insomnia this is that you stop sleeping completely. Your normal sleep doesn't work

I understand. It sounds like hell. Have you at least tried drowsy antihistamines like doxylamine or phernergan?

Perhaps try the ones I have suggested, you can just get them from the pharmacy without a script.

Hi all. Ive been browsing other forums and reddit in relation to antipsychotics and ive noticed a lot of ppl willingly take antipsychotics because they prefer that over psychosis. I personally would rather just live with the psychosis and not be on meds. Would yoy guys go on antipsychotics if your experiencing psychosis or would you just live with the psychosis?

update. almost 11 months have passed since the last injection .. welbutrin improved my mood and energy but worsened my insomnia. forced to take several tablets of ambien (stilnox-zolpidem) and sometimes seroquel or rarely add mirtazapine..I find myself awake at 3 or 4 in the morning and I have to take sleeping pills. I'm just trying to scale the sleeping pills. Do you think the insomnia effect induced by welbutrin will fade away after a few weeks? weight loss does not happen. the metabolism seems to be ruined. after xeplion i have a shorter penis (lack of vasodilation) insomnia. anedonia.etc ... those of you who have similar problems that make it invalid. how come they say that healing occurs at 1 year and returns as before ... we are already 11 months old ... possible there are people who recover in 2-3 years. or have irreparable damage and do not return to being as before. even with only 2 injections 100 + 75mg of European xeplion ... ps: difficulty concentrating and I cannot read books

above all, healing occurs in a different way if given to a psychotic person or a healthy person. because I don't have medical records that talk about psychosis. only depression and difficulties in relationships

Depends how severe and common the psychosis is imho.

Mine aren’t bad, and very rare. Of course they are very unpleasant when they do happen, but I have been able to cope.

However schizophrenia for example, worsens as you age to my understanding. So even though it may not be worth it now, you may want to be open to the option in the distant future.

I also just wanna say that I believe anti psychotics get a very bad rap. Yes, they can dull your emotions and have bad side affects, but I believe it’s a very long process of finding the right one and right dose.

I had tried everything and thought nothing was going to work well for me. Then I tried a newer generation anti psychotic, Vraylar, and it blew my mind. No side effects, I could feel “alive”, I wasn’t gaining weight, etc.

However, my Dr slowly upped my dose to the max and it did turn out to be too much, so we went back down and it’s perfect.

However, it may also be worth considering medication *before* your condition worsens. For example, you don’t wanna be alright one moment, and then have the worst psychosis of you life the next landing you in a facility. Prevention.

It is your choice though :)

do you think drinking a lot helps eliminate invega? or is it a poison that ruins the brain and you have to wait for healing ... is healing happening? which users are cured?

I have tried drowsy antihistamines
They don't work. My brain is seriously damaged.

With the first 2 shots I could sleep with a diazepam. Now it does just the relaxing effect.

Ho provato antistaminici sonnolenti
Non funzionano. Il mio cervello è gravemente danneggiato.

Con i primi 2 colpi sono riuscito a dormire con un diazepam. Ora fa solo l'effetto rilassante.

I will ask it again. Anybody that in the off period was not sleeping at all, zero sleep, did recover???

Ive never had sleep problems from antipsychotics. Antipsychotics have always made me sleep more and it never gave me zero sleep so i cant relate.
