She glistens while she falls
Delicate, like a touch of rain
When it kisses the skin
The joy of admittance thus
Has taken him by surprise:

With a stirring need of love, he burns
He bends, he laughs, he says he knows
But forgets upon his return
To lament the changing

"Please go"

Words like these shut a door
And there isn't a window to explore
All of her that was before
The gentle peace of that rain
Will not be felt again

I began marking up what I liked about this whole piece, but ended up marking everything.

With a stirring need of love, he burns
He bends, he laughs, he says he knows
But forgets upon his return
To lament the changing

"Please go"

Words like these shut a door

But this was just amazing, the cherry on the cake.

I love reading your work. It's a joy everytime!
