I didn't realize stims could trigger a manic swing.... Hell I didn't even realize I HAD bipolar disorder.... Til a 10mg dose of methylphenidate on a Sunday afternoon caused me to stay awake with clear manic thought patterns all the way to Thursday AM.

I probably have, but in general my symptoms aren't that severe and I swing heavily towards the (hypo)manic side.
I've had clear "symptoms" since I was 20 but in the last two years it's gotten worse, my psychiatrist is aware and she has seen me in very intense states but I still get by like this and I've been quite stable these last few weeks and longer (I was also not really taking any drugs). But a little bit too much hypomania doesn't weigh up against the endless fucking side effects of their meds.

Dissos and psychedelics are my number ones in kicking me into hypomania. Stims might fit in there as well... Alcohol is also a big one. Everything basically.. but the border with full blown mania is always quite far, but it's definitely not normal

Yeah that's Bipolar 2 quite possibly, I think the majority of Bipolar 2 patients would say the same

Bipolar 1 is big mood swings over longer periods Bipolar 2 is small mood swings over shorter periods.

I even got a therapist once to label me as having "cyclothymia" rather than Bipolar 2 but that's a pretty rare diagnosis.

Bipolar 2 patients going full blown Hollywood-manic is rare

Actually I'd say we differ in that I tend to be depressive more than manic. So maybe cyclothymia fits you better than it does me even.

I had to ditch the rest of my 2cb due to an emergency recently its not much, but its sad to waste. If anyone wants the GPS coordinates, and lives near the desert, shoot me a pm. Lol jk. Feels good not to have to worry as much and not be holding. Except for when I get back to my hotel and TV is on and I've never used it before and neighbors or way too friendly. If I get killed or busted tonight, I got framed!

lol when you finally get a match on a dating app but one of their friends in the picture i went to school with her a long time ago that is RIP From the start lol. My reputation precedes myself to this day from those long gone days of been the most fucked kid to ever go through that school lol. I truly hope she doesn't realize where i am from but ehh if her bestfriend was in my class from all those years ago then rip lol. Though idk maybe people will have forgotten about me but i don't think so the shit i was up to in those times was fucking crazy. Will my past come back to haunt me once again who the fuck knows lol. i know how women are aswell they always show their friends who they are talking to.

I'm heavily debating selling my Miata soon and putting the money down on a newer mid-size pickup and then when Mrs. CG? and I have enough money aside a few years from now we can get 1+ acres farrrr from all the people and have real and true privacy. I could always buy a cheaper motorcycle if I still had the 'sport car' itch. Used Ninja's ain't too expensive... hmm.

From what I've read they suffer a lot, very long and drawn out periods of depression, mine last a couple days to a week at most and I know hypomania will kick in soon enough anyway.

I even got a therapist once to label me as having "cyclothymia" rather than Bipolar 2 but that's a pretty rare diagnosis.

Yeah I was convinced for years that I had this as I cycled so rapidly, but the past year my hypomanic cycles have lasted for much longer

Yes, the unfortunate downside to cannabis cessation... the return of dreams (or rather, nightmares). Quitting this week myself till after I move, I imagine I'll have some terror fraught nights for a while. Need to be motivated though, can't afford to have a habit right now. So, nightmares it is then!

got to love the ptsd dreams aswell fuck it is acutally possible to ever get these traumatic dreams away?. I remember my mum told me she still had ptsd nightmares most nights of her childhood til she was 50.

I actually love that about quitting cannabis (or gabaergics too). But then I like my dreams, they're generally interesting and trippy/fantastical.

was trying to find a liner for my military's jacket then i was shocked at the price of these jackets now. I literally got mine for $20 nzd from a army surplus story Egyptian m65 khaki and its still in insane mint condition and super water proof. Then i saw the prices on ebay people wanting over $180 for them WTF lol. this is my fav jacket and been through so many smokes up and trips in it.
