Mental Health Coming Off Invega Sustenna (Paliperidone) v4

I've changed my opinion about psych meds and invega. I've been on the injection for a few months now and I didn't even notice how it was affecting my intelligence, motivation, and energy. For me the only reason why I kept supporting the medicine was because it kept me away from psychosis. But definitely, the side effects are way too much.

I'm looking for new ways to control my delusions, I think I'll try CBT therapy or something else. Have any of you fixed your illness naturally?

How many times have you been on and off it now?
 
Hi, I’ll give a more in depth introduction but I was injected with the loading doses in February and the final 50mg shot March 05. So I’ve been off it for just over two months now but I’m hoping that since the last dose was so small it will cut off some time that I need to heal.

I was misdiagnosed with schizophrenia here in Vancouver, British Columbia and forced to take the injections against my will. Luckily my mom is a doctor and we managed to get the psychiatrist to take me off the injections so I’m currently off of all meds. This doctor confirmed I don’t have schizophrenia but yet she was the doctor that made me take the injections to get discharged from VGH so I don’t understand that at all. I’m technically still on extended leave which means I am able to get recalled back to the hospital if I don’t take my meds but since I am no longer prescribed anything then it’s kinda pointless.

I‘ve gotten bloodwork done on April 9th that showed my prolactin was high and my testosterone was very low, however I just got bloodwork done last week and my hormones are now within normal range which I’m very happy for. I still feel like dogshit and leaving my bed is difficult. Primary symptoms are issues with sleep and sexual dysfunction as well as general malaise. Vision issues and jaw pain too, lack of facial expressions and it kinda hurts to smile but I’m able to laugh and not be completely suffering like I was right after I got injected.

Would love to connect with people going through the same stuff especially if you are in BC like I am, we have very bad laws that allow the doctors to do this to people here. It’s disgusting and inhumane what I and others here have been put through in the name of psychiatry.

Will you continue your YouTube videos? Maybe a daily diary of you getting off the invega?
 
I’m currently on the 50mg dosage of Invega sustenna and can’t move my body fast I dunno if it’s from the shots of from the 20pound weight gain but if sucks and I feel mentally stunted. I can’t talk fast! I can’t wait until they drop the dose down to 25mgs in August maybe then I’ll be able to run again and lose some weight.

It's really hard to make YouTube videos while on the shot, I've seen quite a bit of decrease in productivity. I was taking college classes and I had a hard time getting good grades in that too. I will see if I can document my progress on both nofap and invega. I'm currently flatlining on nofap so the anhedonia from the invega is increased.
 
Psychosis is the mismanagement of present reality.

It eats at all abilities. It's not your imagination. I'm just repeating what the people from v1 and 2 mostly said before the old crew left. Everyone here is entitled to there own opinions but mine are mostly negative 🤭

Nice to meet you. Good luck with actually talking to people in here. It's typically the same people harassing eachother about recovery and to the extent of repetition.
I had something similar of course a misdiagnosis and now i am a fkn' super mutant from the injections. Literally this stuff eats people alive. Glad you are out of the hairy situation. Mine has managaed to injure my legs and then my family tried to get me schizophrenically forced by diagnosis from prior quitting saying that it was back..etc now I'm stuck with system hash tags whenever hospitalized in the U/S.. absolute garbage how the healthcare has turned out.

Man, sorry you're having to take Invega again. I remember you helping me out on one of your YouTube videos last year in April or something like that. I really appreciated that. Have you tried getting your doctor to find the right med for you, or did it go nowhere?

I'm glad I was able to help you. Sometimes I wonder if the invega is helping me more than the harm that it's causing. I've always ended up relapsing, every time I quit the invega. My doctor is pretty much useless as he kept me on olanzapine for a whole month, and I was psychotic the whole time. I know Invega is the only med that controls my symptoms well as I remain psychotic with other anti psychotics. But right now I feel a lack of intelligence and I think its from pmo withdrawal. I'm trying to see if on a long nofap streak I can actually live well with the invega. I can't decide whether the enemy is porn or invega. I think it's porn.

How long after quitting Invega do you usually relapse?
 
Guys. Yea, lobbying for forced anti psychotic injections is bad. but you have to realize the scientists work on this stuff for a reason. there is a demand. there are people who find these meds to be beneficial. Dont try to connect the wickedness of big pharma to anti vaccination views for covid. That's dangerous
