Am researchng for an essay on porn and am wondering how some stuff on pornohub is even legal????

If you want to see some pretty offensive films, as per my OP, just look at the "Teen" section on Pornhub ... I wouldn't recommend actually viewing any, however: lately there have been more concerns about Pornhub failing to prevent uploads of illegal content and it's been alleged people are at risk of being linked to illegal material without soliciting it because of Pornhub's cookies ... so be careful!

Maybe if you use a Windows/PC computer but there is just about zero chance of it happening on an Apple.
 
ya am gonna back that up with > Linux doesn't use registry system so there's no way of re-routing that. It's very hard to hack a protected Apple device, they're like a cult you know so it's pretty hard to bypass that. And on top of that, many if not all internet users nowdays use ''Antivirus'' and up-to-date drivers so you don't need to worry about anything.

p.s> no one uses ''CCleaner'' anymore haha

What kind of offensive porn, all porn is offensive, but what particular offensive porn are you talking about?

I wouldn’t want any if they on my phone or computer.
 
I didn't see anything mischievous on pornhub.com. Mind you I'm not a lawyer, but I didn't see anything illegal out in the open. There isn't anything related to underage actresses that I see

I remember when I started watching porn in 95' (I was 11) there was some porn with underage girls, but I haven't seen anything like that since and I hope it isn't still around; even back then it was hard to find. Well, looking up underage and pool parties etc related searches I did find them (back in 1995) but they weren't under porn. I tried that recently just out of curiosity and found nothing illegal, for whatever that's worth

there is that NZ guy on the FBIs most wanted list for tricking alot of women and some underage girls into porn in america. along with his actor and some other guy. They made like 20 mil and have disappeared from america. Interpol and FBI are hunting them down. Apple is very easy to infect. Infact they didn't even use anti virus for years so apple users had no way of knowing if they had viruses.
 
This is a slightly Australian-centric point ... but downloaded the Criminal Code which applies to WA (my state) and Queensland, and seriously, IF the laws described therein were applied to viewing Pornhub and other "Big Porn" sites, it would surely be completely illegal here to watch some of this supposedly "mainstream" stuff.

It is of course illegal to knowingly watch under-16s performing sexual acts or being depicted in a sexualised way.

But it's also illegal to watch material that depicts a person who appears to be under 16.

Distributing material that depicts under-16s or individuals who APPEAR to be under-16 comes with mandatory 10 year sentence.

Possessing material that depicts under-16s or individuals who APPEAR to be under-16 comes with mandatory 7 year sentence. Ie straight male fans of the "teen" genre (such as one sees on Pornhub) could, in theory, be prosecuted if they've got the "fake under 16" material on their computer.

If the material depicts persons 13 or under, or who APPEAR to be 13 or under, there are stricter penalties (Exxtra Tiny Teens on Pornohub would seem to fit this bill?)

Ignorance of the actual ages of individuals who are under age, or LOOK underage, is NO DEFENCE.

If you can show that you believed - and that any reasonable person would believe - that everyone in your porn film was at least 16, that is a defence.

But certainly the point of genres such as "Teen" and Exxtra Tiny Teen" is to make it look as if the performers are actually under 16 ...? Or that is what I have seen ...

Of course I am sure that this WA/QLD law couldn't be applied in real life to Pornhub browsers of "Teen"/"Tiny Teen". It would be logistically impossible.

Plus there's probably some sort of Gordian knot of international law that would trump these Australian laws when it comes to global Big Porn like Pornhub (at the very least I am sure Pornhub couldn't be prosecuted as a "distribtuor" of child exploitation material in Australia ... although within the Australian legal definition above, that is exactly what they are).

As a side note it is also illegal in Australia to possess or distribute anime/hentai featuring child characters as sexual object. Some guy was even prosecuted for having (what sounded like) some sort of jokey animation depicting Bart and Lisa Simpson getting up to no good ...

Anyone from other countries (or other parts of Australia) have anything comparable in their laws?

Btw I have very limited law knowledge, especially in this area, so I might be missing something here (I did study law for about 5 seconds in 1991, before the internet was even an issue) ... so if there's anyone who is more au fait with the "Legal Aspects", Australian or otherwise, and detects a flaw in my reasoning, please point it out: I'm trying to write this up properly now, and don't wanna make an ass of myself!

What I want to know is, statistically, how many pedophiles are out there, and why are they so rampant on the internet?

And how do we reconcile this cohort with the rest of humanity? It seems like they've always existed. Child brides are still a thing in some parts of the world.

This topic disturbs me greatly.

I don't like pornhub but I'd rather the evils be visible than hidden. Some of humanity's darkest stuff is in its collective sexuality. Child porn freaks me out.

actually my porn piece has stalled because I feel like I can't really write it without watching a lot more potentially problem porn ... and I can't hack it! There's SO many videos on pornhub which appear to feature girls who look about 12 with enormous cocks being shoved in their mouth or asses, and the overriding theme seems to be sadism.
Sample title: "12 Year Old Cries in Pain While Taking Huge Cock".
I can't bring myself to watch stuff such as this.
Also I am a bit worried it might get me in trouble.
I know every man and his dog has visited pornhub. And the girls are probably older. But the laws in my state are pretty clear: possession of simulated child porn is a
crime.
Maybe I could write a piece about why I can't write a piece about this sort of thing?

I find it hard to believe there are titles like "12 year old Cries in Pain...." on Pornhub. I would bet they have AI that picks up things like that pretty quickly. However, I can believe there are videos that attempt to give the impression the actress is close to that age. Although the most common practice of putting an 18 year old in knee-high socks, pigtails, and making her suck a lollypop in a pastel coloured bedroom probably does not pass the legal criteria for 'simulated child porn'.

hey I saw it with my own eyes!
mind you I was looking in the "Tiny Teen" section, foraging for evidence of pornhub atrocities.
I also noticed they have a section called Girls Do Porn Deleted Videos, purporting to contain illicit GDP material (Girls Do Porn WAS taken offline because of videos showing women and girls being coerced or flat out raped - eg one woman was raped by several men when she was unconscious from booze/sedatives....found out months later she was on GDP. There were many such cases I believe.)

One book I read on internet underage porn made the point - no doubt true - that quite a lot of non-paedophiles are morbidly curious about child porn, and would watch some pretty fucked up stuff now and then for that reason.

This is something I can more readily understand than a sexual interest in children, although I am not at all sure it's less ethically repugnant. The demand for child exploitation material must to some extent motivate distribution and supply, regardless of the forces driving that demand.
