My problem with relationships

The whole basis of why this relationship “worked” is because they “accepted” each other for who they truly are.
Most times relationships don’t work out because one wants to control the other, or make claims like “for this relationship to work YOU have to change”
People are who they are and that’s that.
If you can learn to have unconditional love for someone, and it’s reciprocated, a relationship can be a wonderful thing.

Well, just think about it. Think about your relationship with your mom. Your mom’s been washing your socks that you e been jerking off into since puberty and she just picks the crusty things up and washes them every week and doesn’t even cringe. She may have started to put a tissue box on your nightstand. But never did she ever make you feel bad or act repulsed at your grotesque-ness. That’s unconditional love. If only all real life grown up relationships could be like that.

Also why is it, they say that men, unknowingly look for qualities in women they date, that their mother has. This can’t be coincidence. Until you realize that that woman is NOT your mother and she’s going to nag you to fucking death because she really does NOT accept who you are .
