Ya, my dad told me about the acid from back in the day. 250 - 300 mcg microdots. One of his cousins (they were all like 14 - 16 yrs old at the time) didn't "feel anything" after an hour so he took 2 more. He has had problems cognitively for the remainder of his life and has been in a special government program for the mentally disabled for his whole life. I never thought it could be true because of all the talk that people have dosed accidentally in the 1 - 10 mg (and even higher...) range without dying, but I met my uncle Richard and he is a little spacey, we don't even speak the same language but you can tell by his demeanor when we did meet, that he never did really get both feet back on the ground. Also, the age at which they were tripping is pretty damn young, there was lots of brain development still occurring, which could point to some possible underlying mechanisms of the outcome. And the rest of the group who just took 1, were flying. He said Richard ran to the police station and got them to lock him up until he was sober again haha. What a bad time. Still made for a neat story, Paps saw Dracula come OUT of the TV and come at him hahaha. Crazy kids.
I'd have to agree that a modern day 300 mcg hit is a lie unless you laid your own sheet and are certain that your math is right, there is just zero financial incentive to produce such a strong hit. NOBODY would buy that hit for 30 bucks because they'd call you out (even IF it was true) because of the rarity of an item such as that. The only place I'd trust a purported potency of 300 mcg is in the 70's, or being close friends with a masochistic drug dealer who has lost the concept of income generation to the love of super dosing people and showing them what a real 70's dose was like. This might sound greasy, but from a perspective of someone who has laid sheets, your calculated 100 mcg per hit has losses in the glass dish, and on the drying rack. The best way to lay a sheet is to time the submersion of a sheet to match exactly the submersion time of a dry run (solvent with no LSD, submerge for an exact length of time, say 30 seconds, then calculate the weight of the wet paper and subtract the original weight of paper dry to arrive at your mg {mg weight is then converted to a fluid volume for volumetric dosing on the blotter} of solvent that has absorbed into the paper. It has to be a length of time where the paper doesn't come out sopping and dripping for too long, although there will inevitably be some drippage, but the consistency in procedure is what creates batch consistency, timing is key, with the main objective being no drippage on the drying rack), do some easy ratio calculations and you can mix your master solution according to these outcomes. For this method to be useful several sheets need to be laid at one time with the remainder of the liquid "master mix" being stowed for personal use as letover liquid LSD at some specific concentration per mL. There is always a light discrepancy in dosage, but a fairly accurate approximation can be assumed (+- about 15 mcg if your shit is tight). But all this aside, as I've mentioned, the financial incentive to underdose a "100 mcg" tab is huge, seeing as making them all 80 mcg would mean you can make an extra 1 per 5 ish, or 2 per 10 ish (80 x 10 = 800 mcg, enough leftover to make 2 more underdosed tabs totaling about 160 mcg with 40 mcg leftover even still...) and people will just buy 3 if they want a 300 mcg trip. It's safer, easier to adjust a dose, blah blah. I could go on but yall get the idea I'm sure.
I've procured 10 mg of xstal 1P-LSD which was weighed a tiny bit fat, and diluted it into vodka myself, took what was exactly equivalent to 60 mcg and have come to the conclusion that we have been being sold hits that were 60 - 80 mcg our whole lives being told it was much stronger. There is one isolated incident where I procured some exceptionally good LSD as a dealer of MDMA and ketamine myself in the past, and the 1P xstal experience has lead me to conclude that that particular batch of "earl grey" as it was dubbed, was a legit 100 - 120 mcg per tab batch. It was some of the most potent one hit shit I'd ever taken, and from all my experiences I'd say it was merely a properly dosed tab of regular LSD, or slightly higher than the typical purported 100.
