Any Difference in Drug Supply?

can someone please explain this to me.... i just can't understand how it is profitable and worth the risk for dealers, particularly light and dark, to operate right now. obviously the second it becomes unprofitable, supply will go down, which is why i'm asking here.

2 reasons- firstly they tend to make several people congregate together before they come out and that is vastly more risky right now. secondly cos i don't see how the large portion of their client base that pays for their habit by grafting/begging/sex work are making any money right now. sex workers who operate via the internet i can see being able to get a bit of money, but theeres no one out to beg from and no places open to convert what you get from grafting into money.

Can't comment on light and dark, but my weed guy just drove over to drop the stuff off as usual. He's local and pops down in 10 minutes so as long as he's getting at least £20 it's worth it for him. He works for a supermarket so has his uniform on, if he gets stopped by the coppers he's just off to work.

Main risk is the weed stinking up the car in a time when police are more likely to pull you over. But easy enough risk to minimise.

You raise good points about addicts getting crack and smack though.

Strips of European pharm grade benzos (kern, galenika, etc) and also opiates like codeine are going out of stock, fast, and people are struggling to resupply. This is like panic buying toilet roll except if you don't have the means to wipe your arse you get withdrawals & seizures.

Next up I suspect will be the other boxed brands, then the likes of MSJ's & xanax bars if this goes on long enough. Anything made domestically and in abundance will hold out the longest. Benzos & opiates from Serbia etc though? Stock up & consider this the time to taper if you have an addiction. Seriously, I'm seeing this in numerous places and have been told directly from vendors that they can't source more kern diazepam/etc.

I suspect the same from MDMA/ketamine/psychedelics, as I'm 99% certain none are made domestically (apart from maybe DMT/changa, but that will be effected too when people can't resupply the plants). Even if they were, there are restrictions on movement which are possibly going to tighten. My friend told me all his coke dealers are drying up.

Not only that, but this isn't a good time to trust that it's safe to put whatever you have up your beak.
There's More coke than ever here, ahhh the good things about living in the 2nd Worlds producer of Cocaine.

5 hrs to buy cocaineeee fuuuuuuck, haven't smoked crack in 5 days uu

Your making me Jones for a hit man ;) It’s been too shit the past few times I’ve seen it to bother thankfully.

Good job on the 3 weeks no morphine!! One thing at a time.

reemember many of the dealers are coming from areas where folks arent into snitching and curtain twitching on neighbours, so they can leave their houses as many times as they like, plus, they are in a car not on foot. police arent the watchers in this situation, its the public, so they are just knocking off a bit earlier than usual. i think quality dropped in the last couple of days tho

There's roadblocks in some parts of the country at the moment so driving is more risky depending on your local police force. In 90% of cases it's fine though. Just the odd few forces doing that.

Agreed with the rest, doubt most dealers are living next to snitching types.

Boi, i just finished smoking 9 wraps of coke, esch one was like 0.7g Dam i feel my dopamine Is depleted haha

Wilson- that makes total sense about your weed dealer, i can see that being relatively low risk with a supermarket uniform.

pinkpapaver- from my experience, living in an estate where i never had to go more than 2 mins from my house to score, they have MORE curtain twitching. honestly i remember once seeing someone from a window while i was having a pipe, assumed they must not have noticed me cos who is looking through other peoples windows?!? then 2 mins later there was a whole family just staring out the window at me. that was way before i got noticeably psychotic so i'm pretty sure it happened. the kids by me would all call me a crackhead as i walked past. the neighbours were all so pissed at me but all they could do was make antisocial behaviour complaints about me coming and going in the night. dealers would have to change spots frequently cos very obviously not users would turn up the second they got wind of it.

from what i've seen, non drug users who live in areas where its rife absolutely hate it, and do everything they can to stop it, not just turn a blind eye.

there may well be areas where people are just resigned, rather than trying to stop it. but that still wouldn't explain where the users are getting the money from?

tbh my heart bleeds for the junkies right now, living in a tiny flat with no tv, books, internet, or literally anything of interest, is tolerable when your whole life is grafting and using, but when your ability to graft and use is severely diminished, it has to be awful.

There's an article on today's Guardian about it

Coronavirus triggers UK shortage of illicit drugs

Worrying article, I really hope this doesn't trigger an increase in fent cuts, luckily since fent would have to be imported from China it might be difficult to obtain right now unless some dealers already have stockpiles.

A shortage of imported benzos leading to more presses containing etiz and RCs comes as no surprise at all, it's well known the raw benzo powders are stockpiled for presses. As for the real pharma, basically 80% of our illicit benzo supply now comes from Serbia. 10% comes from India and Pakistan and 10% is individuals with scripts diverting small amounts here and there. Stats pulled out my arse but it is a fact we import most of the illicit benzo supply.

Mate of mine just got a box of diazepam and clonazepam (Galenika) last week so there's still some pharma supply but prices were over the odds though.

Weed seems pretty safe because we have so many local grows there's no reason the global situation should affect the supply, at least in the short-term, but most other drugs is gonna be a pretty fucked situation.

Apparently it can be domestically produced, although unlikely, because of the logistic difficulties in getting precursors and cooking apparel during this full Covid-19 lockdown (I imagine).

Agree

God knows how the situation is going to evolve throughout the crisis and afterwards (not only drug-wise) 🙄

Maybe so, but it could also be a turning point for some, especially when you are sat in a room with absolutely nothing. I’d seriously be questioning where my life was heading.

i wish i could agree but from experience i'm dubious. sitting in one of those nice white rooms with nothing but a blanket, a toilet, and a sink that only runs for 10s at a time, i had plenty of time to think. i promised myself i would never ever use again. i felt so sure of it. then i arranged to score from the back of the police car on the way home. the difference here i guess is the length of time, and the fact people can talk freely to family and friends. maybe that will enable them to put a workable plan in place?

Is any1 else noticing the start of the drought yet. Bags smaller. Prices up. Quality going down. It acant be just my city surely. Actually I use 2 city's and both this week are showing the same worrying signs. Please respond. Would like to know if regional or nation wide
