Hey guys I know how to speed up recovery. I've recovered from Invega twice already from this.
- Do Exercise
- Try Qigong (Meditation)
- Eat healthy
- Don't do dopamine inducing activities like smoking, caffeine, etc.
- Go out with friends
- Talk to your family
- Be patient

Sbar25 you need to chill man..like really. I know you are scared..it’s normal..we all are in the same boat. After 1 month is normal to feel like this but you should see some improvements after 3 months and at 5-6 months I think you will be recovered because you had only 1 shot..what about those people who had 10 shots and they recover? Be optimistic. I had 3 shots and I feel slowly that I’m getting better after almost 2 months off

I used to feel nauseous too when I was on the shots but it passed. It will pass for you too just be patient. So..I’m sleeping from like 00:00-01:00 in the night till 11 in the morning and for now I’m in Germany (I’m from Romania) and I go from 14:00 to 18:00 to a language course and the time is passing ok so my whole day is ocuppied with the course and in the weekends I do different activities like going out to a coffee(or tea),go shopping, watching movies, having walks through the city etc . I’m waiting Juny to go back to Romania forever because I miss my grandparents,my dog,my friends, all of familiar places where I lived. My advice for you is to calm down and just be patient because recovery is possible and you have to believe it but you can still complain or you can help others by being brave and giving hope even if it’s very hard for you too because I’m only 2 months off and I’m not feeling good enough yet but I know I will because I feel it..it will be better for all of us..this is just a part of our lifes

I started going to the course on 13 January and my last shot was on 7 January so yeah coming off Invega Sustenna isn’t easy you have to be very patient it will not happen’ over the night..it’s about months

Why do people say they dojt recover is it bullshit trolling because it's been a month from my first dose and I pretty much can't do anything and I wake up with horrible feelings every morning why are people saying recovery is not possible

Yes but dojt you feel sick 24/7? How are you getting through this? I'm scared because people say its permanent why would they say that

Why why does everything look so shitty and why so I feel so shitty. Did anyone experience extreme discomfort in the first month on the shot. I had 1 shot total. About 30 days ago. It's been hell every day. I can't sit still. There are no chemicals coming through my brain. Can anyone relate.

I need help. Please. Any words of comfort that this is not permanent.
Some people may recover more than others, but I don't think it's permanent. I'm sure you'll recover, just hold on. I take Saint John's Wort. If you look it up, it has drug interactions with Invega Sustenna that may allow for your body to process Invega Sustenna more quickly.

Can I ask you guys, I'm a lil. Bit curious about this med. So why the hell did u get shot with this poison. What was ur diagnosis to get this med prescribed and such. Thanks in advance.

Saint John's wort? How is it possible for you to get through everday. What does it mean to recovery more than others btw
I was on Invega Sustenna for about 17 months, I've been off of it for over 3 months. I'm used to the side effects now and have learned to live with them. I guess I just put one foot in front of the other and try to find things to do to enjoy my life. When I said some may recover more than others, I meant that some people still suffer from more of the side effects than others after the drug has been processed by their system. Most people though seem to make a complete or near complete recovery.

What are your side effects?

Sbar25 I understand your situation, again
,we all have our fears about coming off this drug but you’re doing to much spamm man..let space for others too

So who on here actually recovered?

This thread now has 136 pages of people talking about their recovery journeys. Just go back and read the whole thread instead of posting so much. There’s also the v2 thread with 380 pages:

Read through both threads and you’ll see everything everyone has said so far. There’s a v1 thread too but it’s pretty small in comparison.

Anhedonia is hell. All my desires from before have vanished, the only thing I care about is being able to feel emotion again.

Last week I got a glimpse of feeling again, I cried for like 2 seconds. Afterwards I was in a reasonable (compared to the last 3 months) mood and I could feel just a bit. Alas, it lasted just 2 days but I'm hoping that's a good sign.

It takes months to get better we’re all in the same situation in my experience I have to continue taking abilify for another year so I won’t get any better until after that point it’s supposed to take 10 months off all antipsychotics before healing for all who have so just be patient and read through the v1 and v2 threads all the information is there and it should take a while to read through it just stay strong

Lukewhite two years off any drugs and you did not recovered your sexual abilities (like you feel asexual)? How many shots did you got
