EADD Heroin thread v.XXV -- a quarter centuary of threads if not yet a full decade since the 'drought'...

Last night, I found a small quantity of a substance that might have been heroin.

Today, I have had a train journey from Hell and consequently the only qualm I have about testing it is "What if it isn't?"

EDIT: Oh, yes, it was. About two 500x8 co-codamols' worth, but still a nice Brucie bonus nonetheless. So, a candle to St. Max it is then!

I had unpacked my rucksack, hung the Do not disturb sign on the door of my hotel room and sat down to skin up a doob for later, when I noticed a blob of something stuck to the outside of my "travel" baccy tin (holds just enough to keep me in smokes till I can get to a shop) that looked suspiciously like a congealed beetle from long ago.

And it was :)

We all been there before, one of the worst mistakes I have made was after a decent crack session & was "chicken picking" when I found what I was sure was a decent lump of crack, in my joy I put it on the pipe & smoked away only for a few seconds later to learn to my horror it wasn't crack......................it was candle wax.

Very tasty I can tell you folks.
 
I've done exactly the same thing, it sure looked like a small piece of White but turned out to wax. Another time I thought I had found a little rock of White, I put it on the pipe and I believe it turned out to be a piece of white icing from a cake i had eaten a day or two earlier.

It's amazing how many things look like crack, or hash buried deep in the carpet pile...
 
So true FUBAR about so many things looking like crack. Anything small and white immediately looks like crack when it catches the eye. All the stupid little white things I have smoked over the years and none of them ever turned out to be crack. I should know by now that if I have some crack then I am damned sure I'm not going to lose any, too precious.

The bigger the stones you smoke,the more stupid are the places you search for rocks. Ive gone as far as looking inside books for packs ive might have stuffed in there(suprise:this was never the case)

i only once found a big stone inside a wardrobe,which ive thrown in there in my paranoia
 
As is the term coined here, I'm not one to "chicken pick" for bits of crack.
I'm too careful (not to toot my own horn) and can't be arsed spending the mostly fruitless time to it.

Oh and nothing can compare to cake, aside maybe some clarky cat - I heard you get a reet oily taste afterwards though, unlike the metallic one with Zopiclone :p
