Adderall ruined my life and its not stopping

Some people report no euphoria really.. just focus and a caffeine-like feeling.

For me, adderall is the most euphoric drug I've ever encountered. It's more euphoric and pleasurable than opiates which is weird. I think it's just our individual brain chemistries being similar. That dives into a deeper addiction themed topic but the root of our problems stem from maderall just feeling too damn good for us. The weird thing about me personally is how I can temporarily stop my use after 3 days in a row. The stims feel awful after the third day, so I go back to being a normal human and wait it out. I don't know what other people's habits are like timeline wise. This has helped alleviate some of the problems its created for me imo
 
The effect of meth is much more euphoric than the effects of dex(amps) like Adderall/Dexedrine or similar ADHD stimulants like Ritalin/Focalin

Plus methamphetamine hcl is just so incredibly easy to convert into a shot or a puff or whatever. I mean you can definitely sniff some of these other drugs, but...I don't know. There's a whole culture just surrounding the smoking of methamphetamine, it delivers a repetitive, weird kinda rush that one can't easily get with a drug like Adderall IMO. Plus it enables re-dosing...you can definitely redose other stimulants, like Adderall or cocaine or whatever, you can take more pills or do more lines, but eventually (and probably sooner rather than later) your body is going to feel like shit after a certain period of time. With meth that feeling only comes on after quite a few days, for some people weeks, of being high.

I have no experience with the pharmaceutical formulation they made of meth. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't as addictive as one might initially think, though.

Ah that really helped answer my question. Thank god I can trust myself to never do meth. I've seen people deteriorate FAST from that one. I know it'd be the worst thing to ever happen to me with my prior inconsistent stim abuse.

Some people do meth 29 days in a row. That's absurd lol
 
Hahaha Well I did do meth in the form of prescribed Desoxyn back in the day. That shit was way more euphoric than Adderall so I get it. Adderall isn't as euphoric as meth, but it still caused me to redose like a motherfucker.
 
I never really found stims to be that addictive personally. They're fun though and were the first "class" of drugs I ever really dabbled with, starting with some some lines of Adderall and coke as a student (school is such a stereotypical place to abuse Adderall, isn't it? lol), then graduating to the shard lol.

For me just how terrible my body would feel after a stim binge kind of limited how far I could take it though...like I'd get high on a Friday night, fap furiously to some really weird pornos for a few days before crashing and sleeping for a full 24 hours...then over half of the week has already gone by and I feel like a microwaved turd, all because of a 50 bag of shard! It's just a pretty dumb, unproductive drug IMO.

But generally speaking I'm more inclined to be interested in downers, that's more of the kinda thing I'm drawn to drug-wise, especially as I've gotten older (although I don't do that kinda stuff anymore (un)fortunately heh)

If you're young and in very good shape like probably most of us are, the crash isn't as bad physically and your body can tolerate stims quite well.

This is what I personally feel from adderall use/abuse:

30 minutes the dose hits hard. I have feelings of well-being and feel highly engaged with life. Anxiety is destroyed by the good mood elevation.

1 hour after dose the euphoria is intense. I feel as though I love everyone around me and everyone from my past. I'm incredibly self-accepting of myself and the world by this point. It feels like opiate euphoria in my opinion, but more so a stimulated version. It's like a stimulated benzo/painkiller.

2 hours after the effects are still very present but not as pronounced with euphoria as the 1 hour mark tends to be. I still feel great and loving.

3 hours after the euphoria diminishes but I still feel great and energized. Then the crash hits me in waves here and there but isn't prominent whatsoever.

4 hours after I start to crash. It's not necessarily depression but more-so anxiety for me. I can't feel very much good about myself and often feel guilty about the drugs. I assume the anxiety/guilt is from the depleted dopamine. The crash comes and goes for the remainder of the day until it disappears hours later.

In general, I only find drugs with euphoria to be highly addictive and turn me into an addict. For some reason only adderall and oxycodone can produce that effect for me. I'm sure meth/heroin would as well, but I'm a class C drug addict lol. Not trying to make it to class A.

The point is that pharmaceutical amphetamines for me feel better than any other drug besides oxy (and even so better than oxy sometimes). So out of all the substances including benzos that you like my cup of tea happens to be adderall. The euphoria is so incredible and even after 2 years of a script. It's never getting old somehow. I space out my use recreationally so it doesn't consume me... as the crashes get progressively worse with redosing and you don't feel human after abuse--more like a robot. I personally find opiate addiction to be FAR more detrimental to one's health. Adderall is more physically harmful, but it doesn't have the same "take me or I'll kill your soul" withdrawal timeline and the cravings aren't as strong as opiate cravings are in my opinion. Oxy consumes your entire life like adderall did for coast gal. I find adderall to be so captivating, but diminishing returns being appallingly fast makes me step back and realize how wasteful it can be to abuse days in a row. Oxy feels good everyday lol until you can't feel it at all. Opiates have a crash so far in the future too making it imo more addictive. Adderall for the up and opiates for the down is also an addictive combo of the two.
 
That made my mouth water typing that. I wish I had 200 mgs rn, I'd get some work done, have a porn marathon fap for the win, and play some video games. lolllll I'd worry about the crash later.

Yeah some people are more uppers some are more downers some are all around moderation curious and some psychos are sober :ROFLMAO:
But you have to be very abusive to abuse stims like adhd meds. To at least feel the addiction aspect to them, I should say. When taken in moderation I would still depend on them. It takes a certain type of person to be addicts to that fight or flight process recurring in their brain throughout their daily lifestyle.

Never tried actual meth but I've had nearly every adhd meds. Dont really intend to ever cross that line.

If you want to good results for a year and a life of hell after that, to what extent I can't say I'm not psychic. If I had a sun I would give him a loaded firearm when he turned 8 before I gave him adderall at 23. "

thanks brother!! It is so much easier to talk with a child about rugs when I have a strong understanding about them!! Kids know so much , and how there friends react to drugs, they do not know why or what to do, that is what parents are supposed to do to help. Give advise that is helpful, correct, and Honest!! I grew up in a house ( and an ERA that Lived by { DO WHAT YOU ARE TOLD NOT WHAT I DO!!} I LOVE IT HERE !! This place has been so helpful on so many fronts. My Norco use bothers me, my relationship with my Dr.? my chronic pain that will never go away ( Price of admission) and the warm mellow effects og opiates on the emotinal shit going on in my life!! well sorry to be all over the map on your thread!!:rolleyes:

All is well! Yes the Kpin taper is going.

The way I see it - at least I'm medically supervised and tapering and its not on my own. Some days I try to maybe have a drink or have something else and self medicate and only take 1 when instead of 3 a day. I feel like these days when my body freaks and my mind freaks out equally due to the lack of benzos are little turbo chargers in the taper process. It feels good to have control of your script.

Aside from that just stock piling adhd meds. Adderall is definitely long gone. But his great great uncle, Vyvanse, I have plenty of and when in need no ADHD med comes even close to its potency (70mg) that you actually feel for an entire 16 hours after.

Appreciate you bro. There are some very friendly souls on these forums giving others the hope that they desperately need. You're definitely one of them.
