How common is it for dealers to narc out buyers after a major bust?

Anytime a dealer gets caught they you were buying off destory your phone completely stay away from drugs the cops love to let these people out and catch a whole of bunch of people who will then nark even more til they have caught every dealer and user in the area. Since hes come over to your house after been released im the paranoid type and would of destoryed every single electronic i had put gasoline on it and light it on fire clear out and head off into the wind til things blow over.

Yeah I think it's different in the US but what you're saying is 100% true in the UK, they go up the chain not down and the coppers don't give a toss about personal use as a general rule.

In the US they're nuts though, they literally set up stings to catch people trying to buy heroin so they can seize what little assets they own. Remember reading an article about this because there was a case where the buyers and the dealers were both undercover cops ?

But yeah Yanks are mental with drug enforcement. UK may have some stricter laws on paper (e.g. the blanket RC ban) but in practice police don't care about possession for personal use in the vast majority if cases.

In fact the blanket RC ban even makes it legal to possess an RC for personal use. It only criminalises importation and distribution. Bit of a weird one though because it also makes it illegal to buy them. So it's illegal to buy an RC but legal to possess it...

Anyway when speaking to dealers I use a burner just to be on the safe side, but in the UK at least this isn't really necessary and I'm just a bit paranoid. The police have been known to text warnings to numbers found on dealers phones (lol) but that's literally it.

And yeah @FunctionalJnkieGal if you are caught with a personal amount of drugs all that will happen is the police will confiscate it and send you on your way and even that's if you're unlucky. I've had police just laugh at me when I was very obviously high. They did not give a single fuck.
 
Wilson Wilson LUCKY! Here in the US they'll be up your ass if they as much have a suspicion that you use or sell drugs. What baffles me is that they put all their work into destroying drug users and dealers but they don't seem to take things like domestic violence, rape, murder, or pedophilia very seriously at all. Law enforcement here has it all ass-backwards. They'll let morally reprehensible fucks like that get off with a slap on the wrist, yet they'll do everything they can to put you behind bars and ruin your life for any drug-related charge. I even live near what they call "Drug Highway". Its a major highway and they keep busting people bringing stuff in bulk. My advice to any drug user traveling through the area is to avoid that highway, even if you gotta drive way out of your way because the Sheriff's Dpt. literally patrols that highway just waiting to pull people over (especially if you have an out of state license).
 
Fuck the police of the USA @FunctionalJnkieGal that's all I can say about that, they are nutters over there.

A friend of mine who lived in the US was murdered by the police (shot multiple times) just because he was having a bad acid trip in public.
 
Wilson Wilson, yes sadly that's a prime example of abuse of power and I'm sorry for your loss. Despite the fact that I support the 2nd amendment, a lot of cops here are way too trigger-happy. If you ever heard of the phrase "Shoot first, ask questions later", that sums up the mentality of typical US law enforcement.

in NZ dealers get it fucking lax for anything not meth. Some kid got busted with thousands of lsd tabs dom weed and mdma and his lawyer got him off from jail cause they said he had Aspergers instead he gets to live it up in his rich parents house for a year.

Thanks man, yeah it was fucking horrible and just goes to show how heartless and militarised US police are. It's just crazy. If he was in the UK he would have been taken to hospital, given some IV diazepam or lorazepam to calm him down/send him to sleep, and woken up in hospital... in the US nah just kill him... he was such a nice smart guy too, never hurt a fly neither, he was just having a bit of a bad trip. Seriously all he needed was some benzos to chill him out.

Wilson Wilson, I'm sorry the US can be so inhumane. Just know that not all of us are like that. I love my country, but I dislike our government. I consider myself a Libertarian, so basically in short I believe people should be left alone to do what they will as long as they aren't hurting anyone--in conjunction with protecting themselves and their property with firearms.

Unless you are buying a shit ton from this guy, I really wouldn't;t worry about it. LE most likely doesn't care about you. They want the guy who is supplying your guy. They are going for the ones with the weight. It's a total waste of time to go for the ones holding small quantities
 
It's entirely possible that he bailed out and isn't cooperating with law enforcement. I personally tend to avoid breaking the law with people who were recently arrested though. I'd be less worried about getting set up and more worried about bringing unwanted attention in case he's being watched and doing some dumb shit to set myself up lol

Where I live, cops rarely "set up" buyers. They might happen to catch a user in possession and try to get them to give up their dealer in exchange for less time/charges dropped. But they're usually more interested in trying to get dealers to cooperate to give up their source.

On the other hand, I also used to live in a more rural area where cops had nothing better to do than try to catch anybody in possession of anything. So setting up buyers isn't completely out of the question.

It's totally up to you how you choose to move forward with this dealer. If you feel it's risky, but it's a risk you're willing to take, then do what you gotta do. If it were me, I'd try to find another source while his situation unfolds.

Doesn't mean that it doesn't happen.
A friend of mine had cops tapping his phone and did him for selling six
$25 deals over a few weeks to the guy they were apparently watching when they stumbled upon him (that's the explanation they gave him.i think it's total bullshit though)

This is fucking insane, I am so glad I live in the UK.

I just cannot grasp why cops would waste their time chasing after people trying to score a bag or two, maybe a few whites & a couple of bags when they have taken out a middle level dealer. If anything the cops logic should be to scare the dealer they have with huge jail time to get him to grass the next man up in the chain.

The USA is a really fucked up place imho.
 
Point being they can and will setup little fish at the bottom of the chain just bcoz they have nothing better to do.

yeah some god dam highschool kid had ordered massive sheets of lsd and DOM along with large amounts of mdma a couple years ago i heard he would literally just ask people on the street if they wanted acid like a dumb ass then the police caught onto him and raided his rich parents house and his room had a god dam safe loaded with cash and thousands of tabs of LSD and DOM and other drugs. The most insane part is his rich lawyer managed to convice the court he had aspegers and no friends so he became a drug dealer to get friends lol and so they got rid of his jail sentence and put him under supversion and home arrest for a year

Here they have cops go undercover at high school and pretend to befriend friendless autistic people then pressure them into selling drugs and bust them; not even joking about that one.
