How common is it for dealers to narc out buyers after a major bust?

LadyAlkaline, I hope he's not a snitch. He came by my place last Saturday and I was initially under the impression that he had something to sell, but he told me he'd have to get in touch with the guy who gets it first and that he didn't have any at the moment (I guess he was just there to tell me what was going on and to put my mind at ease, I suppose). I even asked if it would be better for us to meet up when he has it or pick it up from his place but he said if they're watching him, they're more than likely watching his house so it wouldn't be a good idea to drop by. When I told him I was just worried about them busting me where I live, he told me that if he had any suspicion that the cops where following him that he wouldn't have stopped by. Not sure if he's gonna get prison time, but he told me he has a court date in December and he could get up to 10yrs in prison. He seemed sincere as always, but I suppose he could just be a good liar.

And I don't know how true this is for these situations but he said, if he would've gave the cops names, they wouldn't have kept him there for a few weeks. He said they told him he had to pay 10% to get bailed out, but that his wife paid the remainder with the money he had in the bank and the money he saved up from dealing. I think the whole thing cost around $35,000.

PM me his name and city and age and I can find out quite a bit

If it in America I'd say there's a bigger chance of him setting you up more then if you lived in anyother country.just bcoz of the way the u.s. deals with this sort of thing.yrs ago when I got busted I kept doing stuff for the next year on bail awaiting trial then got arrested the Friday night before I was supposed to be in court on Monday morning.i was in police custody at the courthouse on Monday morning when they charged me with fail to appear.just bcoz he got out on bail doesn't mean he turned snitch.the wheels of justice move slowly.if you don't trust him enough get someone else.refer to the 25signs to look out for on "the granite island group" website.
theyre a great source of countersurveillence info.if like me (more recently not the time I got locked up) you get 20 out of the 25 signs going on around you then chances are excellent they're watching you and are bugging your house.dont say anything around your cellphone either.one thing ppl around me have had happen is that the microphone in there comes are being used to spy on them when the cops play them tapes of the evidence they have against them it's not just a fone call they have bcoz the recording started before they answered the call and both sides of the conversation could be heard meaning it wasn't a listening device in the room(they'd only hear one side of the call).be careful.if anything doesn't feel right don't do it.listen to your instincts.theyre often a very good indicator

I'd imagine rare. Cops don't give a shit about the users, really. We're victims (of addiction) and only have small amounts and for personal use. If they want info out of dealers, it's names of people they GET their drugs from; "bigger" guys, higher up the drug-chain.

well one step to ease your mind about snitching and situations like this would be to stop drysnitching lol

What's drysnitching? lol

TBH if I was ever in a situation where it was snitch on my dealer or go to prison, I'd snitch in a heartbeat. But I'm selfish. Although, it's human nature to care more about yourself than someone you barely know who sells you drugs. Also, I'm small, skinny and pretty: I wouldn't last 5 minutes in prison.

indirectly snitching on someone, or in this case yourself without the need to do it, not you chem but you know what I mean. I can't explain it better than that honestly, it's an american term I picked up from reading books, watching interviews and flicks

LadyAlkaline, I won't give his name or the exact city he lives in because he probably wouldn't want me to, but I will say he's in his early 40's and is in the Southern Oklahoma/North Texas area. And Nightrider19, my drug of choice was always morphine but I don't think I'll be getting much more of that, unfortunately.

I’d you are not comfortable or worried remove yourself from the situation - you do have a choice.Or decide how you are going to make smarter choices to feel better about the situation.

I would never expose anyone, I couldn’t do it.
But I come first also comes first because outside of this drug world I do actually have a life.

It’s simple don’t let him come to your house, don’t attract attention and don’t conversate to people about it.

In anywhere but the u.s.a. I'd say your almost right but in the u.s. I'd say they'd take an interest in busting users.

Yeah, you're probably right. I don't live in the U.S. though. The police have caught me with drugs 3 times that I remember (very possibly more times that I don't) and only ever confiscated them. Even when I had 500 Xanax and an ounce of amphetamine sulphate, although they searched my room and looked through my notebooks etc to make sure I wasn't supplying first (I wasn't; it was legit all for me...I used to buy my drugs in bulk because it worked out so much cheaper). They did tell me that if it kept happening they'd eventually have to arrest me, though.
