How common is it for dealers to narc out buyers after a major bust?

I had this dealer that I use to buy from for years but he got busted back in April or May with weed concentrates, xanax, morphine, and meth. I was wondering, should I be worried about going through him now? He evidently kept from going to prison somehow and a friend told me that he could be trying to find people to give to the cops, (buyers included) since she had a cousin who was made to give up a few major suppliers and many buyers in order to keep from getting locked up. My dealer was always trustworthy with my cash, but should I be worried about him coming by? I just don't wanna get my door busted in and be put in jail or prison. I'd rather not go through him because I'm paranoid, but at this point I don't know anyone else.

Maybe, I'm thinking from a UKcentric point of view. Perhaps things are different in the big, bad US of A...

But logically speaking, why go after the customers of the dealer you've just busted, when the best you're likely to get is the dealer you've just busted?

nah you aint thinkin from any country viewpoint, you aint got the experience to talk bout it and in life if you dont know something the big 2 options ask ''why/how'' or stfu, plain simple. Without reading through (i will afterwards) is that they wanna go up the supply chain. However... one of the buyers may buy from another they wanna nab and they may use him/her/it (no offense) in the attempt to get to the other dealer... who may have bigger fish he/she/it may or may not have been in cahoots with.
Just experience and reason. May or may not be factual.

Just because you were a total asshole to the OP for no reason, and because you always do shit like this, I just wanted to let you know that you seem seriously unaware of how you come across with your posting. You're always talking about "cringe", well almost every time I read your posts I cringe. You barely make sense and you're an asshole half the time, coming at people all high and mighty, but I have no idea where you get the idea that anyone else is thinking the shit you said when you made that post. Thanks everyone for the replies. I actually made an account here a couple of years back but when I tried to login when I got a new computer, I couldn't remember my password and the email address I used on my old account is now invalid, so I had to create a new one. I guess I'll just see what happens. Might wind up having withdrawals in a couple of days, unfortunately.

i’m speaking from experience. know people who were busted this way and know dealers who were offered this deal. athens county police love to do it this way. instead of one guy who won’t flip on his supplier, they get five scared users who will.

They're not going to bust in your door my man. They're going to have your dealer set you up. He will be wearing a wire or there will be surveillance wherever he is selling, and they will scoop you up just as you are leaving. You may or may not catch a charge depending on who and what you know. Or, they're doing a sweeps week and your ass is just another notch in their gun belt.

They do this shit all the time, they use dealers to get users off the street and into the money machines that are private prisons. The community thinks they're doing a great job, their boss is happy and they look good. Find a new connection or make him come to you.

If he got no prison time, I'll bet my left ass cheek that he is a snitch.
