Does pregabalin and gabepntin work in different wayin brains? For me gabapentin is somehow more euphoric, with lyrica I don't get much euphoria anymore, only after 6 month break. I took 2 days ago 600mg pregabalin but no euphoria, now I've taken 2400mg gabapentin and it feels vwery nice and euphoric, like phenibut after long break. Also phenibut works different way than pregabalin.

I don't think any of these drugs are fully understood. gabapentin and pregabalin are different drugs, so even though they both work on the same system, the effects are different, sort of like how hydrocodone and oxycodone both work on opioid receptors but are different in effect. Some people find hydro more euphoric and some find oxy more euphoric. I imagine it's the same thing here.

Ah yes I see, I've read that gabapentin WD's are also much lighter than pregabalin.
I tried 250mg naproxen with gabapentin and it clearly makes more gabapentin get absorbed, it works in system for 9 hours, so all the gabepentin you take in that period should have increased absorption. Not sure if 500mg (max reccomended dose of naproxen) will help even better. Also not sure about soda drinks I've always take that too but there isn't any scientific studies on it, so maybe just placebo. On naproxen there is studies saying that it helps both gabapentin and pregabalin to get better absorbed. So you can take less of them and save some meds.
GHB in high doses also is GABA-B receptor agonist so thats why phenibut often feels like GHB, tho I find phenibut more euphoric when haven't took it long times and it gives great feeling dreams too. Last time with phenibut I went to some kind of nodding state and felt very strong euphoria, almost like strong opioid nodding, strangely when not nodding I didn't get that strong euphoria. Yeah exactly. Phenibut and GHB have a lot of similarities, I think of phenibut kind of as the methadone of GHB. It's more functional, lasts WAY longer, and is not nearly as intense of a peak. Of course it's not just like a weaker, longer-lasting GHB. GHB hits GHB receptors, and phenibut is a gabapentinoid. But they're more similar to each other than they are to any other drugs IMO.

yeah I went off alcohol years ago. I just hate it now - it makes me feel bloated and the hangovers are awful. Maybe it's because I'm older now
Pregabalin is nicer, but the only problem is the rapid tolerance. I can take several grams and not feel much at all when I have toelrance.
What doses do you take?

I've only had pregabalin a few times. The first time, I was withdrawing from phenibut, and took 300mg. It was one of the best highs I've had in my life, I had incredible amounts of euphoria, and I could not stop talking. I had orgasmic pulses through the ends of my fingers and toes. I was quite physically intoxicated and spent a lot of time with my eyes closed, feeling like I was drifitng through clouds. It was incredible. I did it a few more times and had similar effects but a lot less intense. I find it very euphoric (moreso than most things), and fairly physically intoxicating. It's like gabapentin on steroids, to me.

300-450mg. today i ate 900mg throughout and know im fixin to chill as the last one was about 30 min ago.
i do lyrica as most substances... once in a while. sometimes i grab 10x300mg and it lasts about 3 days. then its time to do something else for a minute. like music... i dont care a whole lot about one style... i like a little bit of everything. digression.
Yup. i saw a post where you mentioned the receptor activity gotta check that out again. fairly new to lyrica (get the name brand > go figure) and love it.
as posted i hate the hangovers and '[ingest all that liquid to get where i wanna be. also alcohol wasn't too much of an issue as a kid (except when dealing with johnny law) but now... days feeling like shit. i may drink 2-3 times a year with my buds. if there is no one to socialize with i dont drink (which is my daily routine). no socializing and no alcohol. there are other options that IMO are safer and less toxic to the body and mind.

I believe Lyrica is only available (in the USA anyway) as name brand because the patent is owned by I think Pfizer and not enough time has passed yet to make it legal to develop generics.

absolutely. But the Powers that Be don't agree, which is why the safer drugs are all illegal.
Anyway, another thing about Pregabalin is I think it works better on an empty stomach. But the tolerance issue means it's something that only really works if I use it once every week or two weeks

First time in my life when I took pregabalin 300mg gave me also very strong feeling, But now I need 600mg if I've had at leas 6 months break with 3 month break need 1050mg. Gabapentin and pregabalin does nto sem to have very stron cross-tolerance as after 3 day 600mg pregabalin binge I got very euphoric effects from 2,4g gabapaentin after 1 day break from pregabalin.

does anyone know if Pregabalin is metabolised by the liver?
If I take gabapentin 3 days row on 1,5g dose/day and have 3-4 days break, is it enough not to get physically depended on it ? Going to use it for wd from opioids, but not wanting to get addicted to gabas, I use benzos on these 3-4 day breaks. Does pregabalin make you much faster physically dependable than gabapentis, so it's better to use gabas than pregs for wd's?
