Nice Aeon, I like it too. :)

I just posted this in The Lounge rap thread but I thought the subject matter would be appreciated more by you guys. =D I wrote it for my D.A.R.E. class ;)

Underneath a piano I lay
Wonderin how the hell I got here today
Last thing I knew I was flying
Running down the road lookin and plyin
For some chickas for the purpose of lay
Getting it I mean
Cuz I'm so fresh and so clean
I got a vial of acid with yo name on it, bae

But oh no, oops, shit
I hit a rock and down I trip
Hit the ground and what's that I hear?
The sound is so very, very clear
Broken glass in my leg, liquid smear
LSD absorption is real, friend let me tell you
My vision's starting to get unclear

So under the piano I hide
The infinite time I gotta bide
Thoughts shift, strange, unclear
Before long all I can do is fear, I don' play
No more ass, forget class, clearly I'm a glass
Of fruit juice, I think it's OJ.

Suddenly I'm running, I gotta go
Who knew juice could flow
So fast, nothing can stop me now
I don't even understand how
Where am I at now?
How can I blast to the past and relax my desire
to attempt a repast of lysergic fire?

My future's destroyed cuz of one mistake
In my spinal cord now forever lives a snake
Its name is Lucy, its got teeth and a smile
Crooked in form like a crocodile
Only 7 hits and you're clinically insane

I couldn't come up with any poetry. : s This topic is too hard.

I was at my summer cottage for 5 days last week. First time this year. Felt good, you can really feel how much better you sleep there. It's a old a old farm me and my brother inherited from our grandparents. They lived there until 1970s. The house is like 100 years old. There is electricity but no running water except from the well. I feel like 10x more rested when I sleep there compared to the city. This "summer cottage culture" isn't really the same in the US, yeah? Here like almost everyone has a summer cottage at the countryside.

Was like +31C, too much for us :D

Only the extremely wealthy own second homes. Ironic considering how 'cheap' land is in most states. My father in law owns a summer cottage type place, but he's earning at least 150k+ yearly.

I'll be happy just to own one home.

In other news, I did get a call this morning to come interview on Monday for my literal dream job. I would have to make a concession and coach athletics (boooo) but I'm willing to do anything to get this position. If spending a few extra hours a week watching kids run around will get me there, it's worth it.

I don't wana count my eggs before they hatch, but this is such a breakthrough for me. I never in a million years thought I'd even get an interview with this district. Wish me luck guys! I'm anxious as heck heh.

CG how does it feel to be native English speaker since like everything is in English like movies, shows, science, literature etc.

I wonder how it feels to watch some of the most popular shows/movies when it is in your native language. Would feel pretty weird for me

I still use subtitles because sound mixing is always off and actors mumble/have weird accents lol.

But I do watch foreign films sometimes. Doesn't feel that different really.

I don't know any other languages fluently so I can't really understand what it's like to read in any other language.

Yeah I use always English subtitles when I watch stuff. But I notice it is different to watch foreign movies that are not in English because you need to concentrate on the subtitles all the time or you lose the plot. When watching movies in English it's like I hear 50% and read 50% of the content.

Same here.

I guess I've just never really thought about it much. Though, I do speak more English (broader vocabulary) than most folk I meet. They seem to think I'm highfalutin, smart, or pompous, but I just like having the ability to completely convey my thoughts without any discrepancy.

I have been watching a 54 episode long Chinese TV show, Games of Thrones style thing but less well done than GoT. Still, I really like it, it takes place in feudal Chinese culture from the past. The language is beautiful, after 51 episodes though, I can't tell a single damn thing that's goinhg on, erven close, without wa5tching all the subtitles. Nice show though, it's on Netflix and it's called "The princess Weiyoung". My girl got into it randomly and we've been watching it for a while. I'm good at feeling like I can watch it properly but also read the subtitles, you really get used to it.

lol xD Ill check it out. Hopefully I pick up something.

I know, right? CFC has really done a good job as admin. :)

Hey buddy, how's it going? Done any good piano playing lately? I just got a Nord Electro 6, got it used but they're $3000 new, some of the popular bands I see have worse. I've been thinking about recording some random stuff to share with you guys but my nice hand recorder is lost somewhere.

Considering writing some trip reports for compounds (or plants) that may not currently have many reports online.

I'm not very good at writing them and the circumstances in which the materials were consumed were informal to say the least, so not sure if it's worth it?

-Coca leaf (five years)
-Flutoprazepam (one year)
-4-FMC (several experiences)
-MDEA (several experiences)
-TMA-2 (once)
-MXM (once, on mescaline)
-4-MAR (several experiences)

I might think of some more later but if anyone is interested in hearing about these, let me know.
