What about if played laying an a pool of your own piss in a 6 x 6 concrete cell with your hands zip tied and a hessian sack over your head? Cos a few days of that and you'd admit you were the one who shot JFK or anything else asked of you for that matter :)
 
^ Same applies to almost literally anything. That's kinda the point of noise torture. Same also applies to sensory deprivation. Overload or underload, it all breaks one's bonce sooner rather than later. At least something like Merzbow is sonicly interesting enough to focus on. The Barney theme song though... jesusfuck the people who decided on using that should get a week in the purple box at a bare minimum 8o

They did crusty before The Levellers, they did grunge before Nirvana. They were the penultimate festival band of the 80s (second only to Hawkwind, of course).

Bearers of leather jackets, skinny ripped jeans, para boots and dodgy mullets, they personified the punk, biker, rock, goth, festival crossover scene of the 80s perfectly.

I must confess I have a real soft spot for "nu-metal". Not summat I listen to much these days - and that particular album was right at the turning point where it turned into utter bilge for me - but their previous album is top notch imo.

What I am listening to at this very moment though is...

Akala (Ft Lowkey) - Behind My Painted Smile

Love the tune and the lyrics are just so very damn... lyrical.
