That's what i first thought when i read this thread. Paying for it's a win win, You great much needed practice while getting the monkey off your back of not knowing what to expect in sexual intercourse. Plenty of guys have their first time with a pro and go on to have successfully relationships with females. Half the guys i went to high school did that and now in their mid 30's have wives and kids. Just don't mention you have paid for sex to females you are trying to hook up with as that's a bigger turn off than a bad moustache and being short.

Internet dating is all the rage now with lots of people hooking up that way. I'm sure you will eventually find a partner JR there are plenty of late bloomers out there.

Fair enough, i'd give it ten more years and if no improvement or results i would seriously consider going on a holiday to a destination where there is a legal tolerated and regulated sex industry. If you reside in the US jr6654 the legal Cat houses in Nevada would be better than breaking the law in your hometown with a escort.I'm assuming you are in the US.

But that's a while off if your 23, a friend of mine didn't get a proper girlfriend until he was in his early 30's and it used to do this guys head in not being successful with the opposite sex so things can happen if you try and preserve.

It's very hard to look around and not compare yourself to others that are doing better in whatever aspect of life. You talked about not feeling manly, having low T or feeling like a pussy because you are a virgin. None of these things are required to get someone into bed with you. The old adage of being yourself is pretty true here. You don't have to be a bearded hulk with iron abs and an attitude to match for women to be interested in you. Find someone who likes you for you. I realise this can seem unlikely or impossible but it really isn't.

Decide what you are looking for. If you want a quick fuck then hit up tinder and swipe right until you get lucky. Remember that you are inexperienced and the sex is likely to be short and unsatisfying. I would expect your best bet is to find someone who likes you and wants more than just sex. It sounds like you want the same. How to find someone?

Well try making friends who share interests with you. Some of them will be women. Ask them out for drinks or dinner or to share your interests. Some will say yes. It's a numbers game. You could try dating sites or apps too. Something like OkCupid rather than one of the dial-a-fuck apps.
Stop worrying about your physical appearance unless that's all you want in return.

I definitely want a relationship but at the same time I am concerned about going into a real relationship completely inexperienced. I don't want to just buy a hooker so I think the next compromise would be to just have casual sex before getting into a relationship. That way I can at least have some experience - I don't want to alienate a girl because it's my first time.

Having had sex once isn't going to make a relationship with someone less awkward. You are not going to be a sexpert after one night. If you go and have casual sex you will probably end up disappointing. Sex is complicated and takes practice to get it right. Unless you find a girl wanting casual sex with a virgin you'll be lying about it and she'll be expecting something half decent. That isn't to say you might not be amazing, but it's unlikely on your first time.

Find someone you actually like and enjoy spending time with. If they like you, being a virgin won't matter. Then you can actually get some practice rather than a series of crap nights where you get little feedback and have your confidence shot by not meeting the standard.

That would be better yes, I could get a relationship out of it hopefully and also regular practice at sex as a bonus :D

I'll shoot for a girlfriend, it'll just require becoming a more likeable and confident person. But it's a good challenge
