Anyway, at least some discussion was generated and I'm more hated than Spade's Mum, win-win.
 
I can't see it working but watching an attempt at integration would be entertaining so I reckon go for it.

Just don't do it in the next few days cos I won't be around to witness it.

It is quite refreshing to see your positivity in change and cross sub posting Bella. Something to definitely take stock in imo.
 
Thanks Sadie, I'm not such a miserable cunt I'm asking to see this place disappear. Just brainstorming is all. No intention of hurting anyone's feelings who call this place home.
 
I think it's good to discuss and consider these things. Unfortunately people don't tend to like change, so the person that tries to be the change tends to get crucified by an angry mob.

Of course I jest - It's fantastic that you enjoyed spending time on there and is a good vindication for the board and the atmosphere that they have obviously managed to create and maintain.

As I said in my other post - this thread presents a valid question and Bella's reasoning is completely logical.

When I saw the poll yesterday, I personally voted bad idea , not because it actually IS a bad idea, but because I'm selfish and I do not want to. I know I should contribute and I would if my head wasn't so fragile but my selfishness is centred around the fact that I love EADD because of the balance ( or total lack of it!) of drug and social conversation, with the two aspects organically weaving in and out of each other. I also find that the familiarity in geographical and cultural context in here makes it easy to compose (sometimes) relevant content for others to read, although that could just be subconscious xenophobia - I hope not but I find it difficult to be objective about myself a lot at the moment... :\

And as a side note, I've been not wanting to jinx things but EADD really is the healthiest it has been since last summer :D
 
Every person has a home here but there is no reason not to spread ones wings. Cross sub posting creates a more interesting bluelight.
 
I think putting pressure on people to post in any forum is wrong personally. I dont want to post in social nor do i want to be made to feel bad because of it. There really was no us and then before this thread. People just posted where they liked. That wont change because of some thread if anything this thread has created division where there was none.
