Okay, so
I've been taking Gabapentin for the past 5 years, on and off..
but only during times that involve heroin withdrawal
and the subsequent PAWS symptoms.
It is a magical substance, in my opinion,
in that it totally kills RLS symptoms,
the hot/cold flashes,
and nervous anxiety that accompany opiate withdrawal..
It has no side effects that I would consider "bad".
Even the withdrawal from it is very easy, when weaned properly.
(I do not recommend daily Gabapentin unless you need it.)
Now, because of said experiences,
I have also had it available for recreational use - and let me tell you,
I really like it. I really like how a small amount can be used
to augment a situation, for me.
Instead of getting irrevocably fucked up,
I can get a smooth, even buzz from it and not have a crash, or any such thing.
This is NOT a drug that utterly consumes you
or really forces the high - like Heroin or even Alcohol.
But I believe it can be psychologically addictive, especially if used daily
(daily use would include physical addiction, too)
In low/moderate doses (300-1200), Gabapentin is an excellent booster for my social interaction, and even studying.
At 1200mg, I get a warm glow and feel relaxed. If I'm in a social situation, I even get hyper, jokey, and enthusiastic.
If I'm at home and not interacting, I just feel really chill. Like the feeling after a good meditation session.
At high doses around 1800 and up, I get the above mentioned effects but much heavier and
followed by some unccomfortable sedation.
I once took around 3600 once, when I was kicking H. and had no money..
It suffices to say that I felt similar
to times I had chugged a lot of vodka...
I felt shit-faced, and while it took away
my withdrawals, I did not like that feeling.
Lyrica - I took two 50mg caps once, while at work. HUGE mistake. I was so fucked up I couldn't even write my evening report
before leaving work. I had to call a friend who lived nearby to come write it out for me. lol.
It was like high-powered, no-nonsense Gabapentin.
Potentiation - Gabapentin takes a while to kick in, for me.
About 2 hours to fully feel it.
So I experimented and found
that taking it on an empty stomach helps, with water
- followed by a cup of coffee 10min later
- followed by a cup of coconut milk 30min later.
(Not sure why that helps, but that is my routine.)
Kratom - on certain days, I like to do the above routine,
and then when I drink the coconut milk,
I add in about 3g of Maeng Da Kratom.
That usually results in a very relaxed, happy, warm feeling.
Ginko Biloba - I take this at the coconut stage, if I need to study
or am going to work. Super clear thinking. Add Kratom and I get that plus energy.
It really just depends on what I'm doing when I decide to do this.
That factor determines which supplements I will take with it.
If you have any questions about this, PM me.
Take care, be careful.
