Oh brother, yes. I have a script. If you open the capsules and swallow the powder with some lemonade or something like that (as the powder tastes chemically af, like meth tbh) then you feel it within 5 minutes instead of 1-2 hours and it hits 5x stronger easily. I need 500mg when taking normally to feel anything and if I crack open one 100mg capsule and swallow the powder i feel like I took a full xanax bar.

Lemonade as in lemon soda or lemonade as in the lemon-juice/water/sugar stuff?

And it is the citric acid or the carbonation that does it?

Oh acidic drinks always help with absorption but I just meant you need a strongly flavored drink to mask the nasty powder taste.

Yea... For anyone saying it makes your seizure threshold lower aka making it more likely you could have a seizure you must be reading words upside down or subscribing to eternal opposite day. Gabapentin prevents seizures and was created specifically to do so. It DOES NOT give you seizures it prevents and stops them. STFU.

I don't know specifically what the guy you guys are responding to is talking about with lowering seizure threshold when mixing with antidepressants, but I feel like it's very, very important for everyone in this thread to understand that gabapentin overdoses (which is what most people are doing when they use it recreationally) can absolutely cause seizures. Yes, even though it is used to prevent certain types of seizures, it can cause seizures. In people who do not have epilepsy. On its own.

Seen a lot of talk about this gabapentinoid in specific.

From my years experience the best way to use it for recreational purposes is to take breaks between using and the longer the better. And to also stagger it there is a big difference in feeling it and outcome of the overall effect.

For me just a small quite line but I normally dose like this

200mg caps every 20 min till desired dose
300mg caps every 30-45mnin till desired dose
400mg every 45 min till desired outcome.

No tolerance I would aim for 1600mg-2000mg

And also remember when you start feeling it and you think it's weak or need to dose more wait. After they all reach peak levels one after the other you'll understand why.

Where pregabalin is all a one-off hit, gabapentin is a slow build up and then oop you fuct

It seemed to last a while for me. I had jumped on gabapentin in order to get off of fairly large doses of pregabalin (900mg/day), then switched to equivalent doses of gabapentin (can't remember perhaps 1800mg a day) and then over a few months completely tapered off of the gabapentin. I was absolutely fine during the day mostly, not much anxiety etc. But at night, the insomnia was soul crushing, and it went on for months, getting either very little or in many cases absolutely no sleep. After something like 80 days of little sleep i gave up and got some phenibut. Been on that shit ever since.

I regret turning to phenibut. I should have acquired some seroquel and knocked myself out until I could sleep again.

80 days, thats insane. ive only had a taste of that, thank god. it happened to me and i was taking much less and less frequently, 300mg every couple days or so. i would get bad sleep every other night. even with gabapentin on those off nights. eventually i decided to drop the pregabalin altogether so i could maintain some semblance of sleep health. dropping it cold turkey even at that dose was something i only did once. terrible restlessness that could only be alleviated with doing cardio or benzos. lasted a few days.

also i dont see a lot of people talking about synergy but gabapentin has great synergy with lots of different kinds of drugs. its best with fairly stimulating drugs like amphetamine or LSD. when combined with stimulants it can get downright psychedelic. i had a pretty psychedelic experience on a moderate dose of NEP with like 1.5g gabapentin. makes for great landing gear but also adds to the experience, unlike benzos, which typically mostly take away from it for me.

I think Caffeine actually potentiates Gabapentin, but I don't know the hows or whys of it.

agree! but you just reminded me of an important discovery i made: that modafinil and gabapentin had zero synergy and actually just made me uncomfortable. so, its not all stimulants that synergize

Hey!!!! Let me tell you some stuff about Gabapentin(Neurontin).
What is it?-Gabapentin (Neurontin) is a GABA analogue. It was originally developed for the treatment of epilepsy, and currently, Gabapentin is widely used to relieve pain, especially neuropathic pain.

So why was it made?Gabapentin was initially synthesized to mimic the chemical structure of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), but is not believed to act on the same brain receptors.Sounds a lot like GHB/GBLGHB-gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid, a neuroprotective and depressant drug&GBL-gamma-Butyrolactone Hmmmm.. They sound very alike!
What's it feel like?-It varies from person to person. I don't want to tell you to go out and take 2500+mg.. Begin with a low dose to see how it effects you. I'm no MD but I can tell you that if it's your first time you should begin with 1-3 to begin with (900mg). It has the same sort of effect's of xanax, ghb, and hydrocodone. With a THC buzz. It makes me feel really dream like, and smooth high. When I take high doses I tend to drop things, and have a small twitching problem.
Best way to take it!-I don't want you to go and do this to every gabapen capsule you have. I normally will empty the contents of the capsules into a square of toilet paper and parachute it. It tastes WORST than ecstasy/mdma! Gabapentin tastes horable!!! So be sure to swallow it before it bust's open in your mouth!
Cool things about Gabapentin!-There have been reports by methamphetamine addicts that gabapentin alone in doses of 1200 mg at bedtime taken for 40–60 days has been effective in reducing the withdrawal symptoms and almost eliminating cravings or desire to use methamphetamine. It also helps those addicted to prescribed pain medications and takes away withdrawal symptoms.
Is it addictive?-Yes, it is. it's withdrawl effects are verry similar to benzo/alocohol withdrawl symptoms. (Only after long term use.)
So what's it feel like again...?-Although gabapentin is not a controlled substance, it does produce psychoactive effects that could lead to recreational use of the drug. However, it is widely regarded as having little or no potential for misuse. Pregabalin, a gabapentinoid with higher potency marketed for neuropathic pain, is a controlled substance, under Schedule V of the United States' Controlled Substances Act.
Recreational use of gabapentin produces a varying number of effects including euphoria, appetite stimulation, incessant talking, physical and mental stimulation which result in varying degrees of drug-induced productivity. Diarrhea/stomach discomfort is commonly reported with heavy use.
Gabapentin is close to pregabalin(lyrica)

That's really interesting that it helps with amphetamine cravings. I am an amphetamine addict, but im not on meth. I take Adderall and benzedrex nasal inhalers (containing propylhexedrine which is chemically similar to meth.) I am also prescribed gabapentin 800 mg three times a day as a mood stabilized, but I don't really take them that much and I'm on such a high doss that I have tons of them. I have tried everything to quit amphetamines and I can't stop no matter how hard I try. I wonder if high doses of gabapentin could help me. I usually can only stay clean for about ten days before I finally give in to my overwhelming cravings. I'm not gonna get into it but my life is really terrible. Maybe I can find some relief with gabapentin. Thanks for the info.
