Update on my latest crush: I just asked her out on a second date, and she said yes :) I haven't felt this giddy about someone new in a really long time. It took all the self control I could muster to wait a few days before asking her out again. Doing my best to tell that voice of anxiety and self doubt that says she's out of my league and too good for me to STFU. I'm starting to warm up to the idea that maybe, just maybe, I deserve love and happiness as much as anyone else.

Atta boy. Funny how self-confidence works. We've all heard it a million times, that you can't love somebody before you love yourself. But to actually love yourself is a lot easier said than done. Still working on that myself.

Credit where credit is due: Crashing introduced me to WKUK a few years back and I've been a huge fan ever since.. Same vein as Mr. Show with Bob & David which is my all time favorite show, which is in the same vein as Monty Python which is a lot of peoples favorite comedy group of all time.

+1 to Mr. Show. I just found it 5-6 weeks ago actually. Have you seen The State? It's probably my next favorite comedy show besides Mr. Show.

yo everyone the new tycho album is very dope, check it out!

Did not realize it was out, thanks for the post Bagseed :D

rick and morty has become my favourite cartoon show over the past year or so, and it seems like the third season will air this december. glad you like it, and to be honest, the pilot is only a taste, it gets better and better witjh each episode.

Haven't watched the second season of R&M but yeah, it's classic. It's a toss up between that and Eric Andre for my favorite Adult Swim show.

Going over to the DMV to get a new license soon, so that'll suck... but after, at around 4 I'm headin to meet a friend and split a tab of L. At 6 we're headin out to see my favorite band perform. Should be a great night! Got a few hydrocodones put aside for the concert too :) super psyched!

with or without the drugs? :D

With nothing but a gallon of PCP, im good to go ;)

@Rick and Morty, absolute favorite cartoon or even favorite anything as well here! My ex gave me a selfdesigned Rick mousemat xD

Id eat some NBOMe blotters if they have rick and morty designs on them. No I wouldn't though.

Rick and Morty is definitely up there. Has anyone seen Bravest Warriors? It's a little web series with two seasons that are around an hour and fifteen minutes each, it's fantastic. Probably my favorite recent cartoon after Rick and Morty.

Oh and has anyone seen the sketch that inspired Rick and Morty? Here it is: https://vimeo.com/49664066

I've never even heard of it. I will have to check it out soon, thanks.

I've never watched it. I struggle to get into animated shows, I only very recently stopped hating South Park after watching Scott Tenorman Must Die. Fucking funny shit :D

Though I love Archer, binged thefuck out of that earlier this year.

Goddamn I am strugglingto type, took too much GHB and some benzo/MXE stuff last night, I've had 6 hours sleep but have lost coordination. Driving to work will be interesting, fortunately today I am working near my house.

I have mixed feelings about South Park. It's clearly written by some clever and funny people, but I really don't jive with their politics, and sometimes they insert that into the show in a way that makes it really difficult for me to watch and enjoy. Scott Tenorman Must Die is a fucking classic, though.

You should definitely give Rick & Morty a chance. I am not a fan of Adult Swim shows in general, and I don't watch any other animated/cartoon shows, but the writing is *so goddamn good*. It easily gets my vote for the funniest - and most clever - comedy currently on television. It hits on a sort of middle ground between the weirdness of most Adult Swim shows and a more typical, structured narrative. The characters are a bit over the top, but not in a completely unbelievable (or perhaps a better word would be unrelatable) sense. There's some real depth to the relationship between the titular main characters, and each episode has an actual plot. Unlike, say, Family Guy, where a lot of the jokes are basically non sequitur sequences inserted haphazardly into the episode, the humor in R&M is situational and develops out of the actual plot developments in the episode. There are plenty of great asides and one-liners, but they are related to what's going on in the episode, not "you think that's bad..." I really can't say enough good things about the show, and there are less than two dozen episodes so far across the first two seasons so you can easily binge watch it over a weekend (or in one day, if you have nothing else to do that day - without ads it's maybe 7 or 8 hours of total content).
