Never had a comedown... ever

Ok, strange post but I've never had a comedown in my life. I mean not ever!
The closest I have is being dehydrated or tired,
I abuse virtually everything apart from weed and opiates and benzos. I use a lot of methamphetamine but it seems to level me out. I've never had that tweaked out euphoria and smoked it from plenty of good sources and in good amounts too.

It's got me thinking if it's something to do with my brain chemistry? I guess I'm lucky to never suffer the suicidal come downs from doing 5g on mcat non stop though that people speak of
 
A year ago I could go all week stimming and hardly sleep during the week while working, and feel fine. Never bothered me too much.

Lately though, just a weekend binge leaves me in tatters and mentally I just can't take it. The thought of stimming, not sleeping and working just sounds improbable now.

One of my friends was claiming comedowns and having lost the magic after about his second pill, and talking about slowing down. Most people I know are still hammering it now, without too many problems.
 
I know I get high, I get the eyes wobbling and all the other lovely related effects like empathy and rushing and becoming a sexual deviant/porn start

But I just go back to baseline. I never drop below, I know I am lucky that I don't get the shit feeling I find it so strange when people say how they're feeling the next day or few days.
Most people I know go easy with mcat because of how it leaves them but i feel absolutely fine after wards. After I have slept I can just go to work the next day or do whatever.

I had done 5-6g 2 weeks ago over 48hr, had about 5 hours in bed resting then went to see my dad and helped him out for a while right as rain.

I am glad and I am lucky, the strange thing is I can't imagine what a comedown is actually like? Other than 'bad'
 
I make them all myself with stuff from under the sink so I know they're good! Haha

Well in that case they're obviously TOO good... ;)


I find the older i get, the less I suffer from the negative effects of drugs. I never get hangovers from booze anymore; stimulants just leave me feeling tired - even after several nights without sleep; and MDMA just gives me a nice afterglow for a couple of days. I think it has a lot to do with your general physical and psychological state at the time.
 
I've had conversations with friends about whether they had a comedown before they had heard that they were a thing.

I defo feel a bit sqiffy after a heavy night on MDMA but after 15+ years of hammering it I still love it and the feelings afterwards do not outweigh the benefits.

I'm not saying that comedowns don't exist, but I do wonder if people make a bigger deal about it because it's a thing.... If I just went a whole night without sleep I'd feel shit for days (I'm 34 and feel 54)... I wouldn't need to give it a special name.

If I take MDMA for breakfast, eat less that 250mg, don't redose, drink water and east dinner before getting a good night's sleep and then take 5htp for a week I'd say I pretty much get no comedown.

Drugs at breakfast time is the best.

But how often do I do that compared with a late night session, usually with a tonne of booze and mixing drugs and overdoing the Mandy :/ its no wonder I get a "comedown"

Moderation is key I think.

Well said!! I also find that the more you worry about getting a comedown, the worse the eventual comedown will be. It's like when you're stimmed to fuck and desperately trying to get some sleep. The stress of worrying about not sleeping makes it even harder to sleep.

Ultimately though, the best way to avoid a comedown is to not stop taking drugs...
