Gibberings CCXIII - 5 Days of Ball Sweat or Fresh Vagina Juice?

I really do not like these mid week holidays, I had no idea where I was this morning when the alarm went off :! Lovely day here, once the guy comes from the liquor store I think a snooze in the sunshine is on the cards - have a great day everyone.

Wazzup EADD?

Nothing but Bacon and Egg rolls and currys going on here atm. No drugs, no booze. Having a rest. Off to Thailand soon so saving myself for that.

Anyway just dropping by to say hello. Have a good one everyone.

I'm sitting in a tent. It's raining ten metres away to my left, and ten metres to my right a swarm of bees are hovering around.

I need a beer and a spliff.

Shotgun and Umbrella :D - I've heard the expression be prepared but 8o.

OK EADD - I need some cat advice.

My husband wants to get another cat but this one is two years old (male but had the op) he has such a lovely character but I'm afraid that by getting another new one it might spoil him. At the moment he doesn't have to fight for attention or food or space etc and I'm worried that adding a new kitten would upset things?

Does anyone have any experience with adding a new cat to the mix?

I think it really depends on the temperament of both cats and how you introduce them to each other / monitor their interaction.

A long time ago we introduced a kitten when we had another who was just over 2 months - it turned out to be the littler younger kitten that initiated all the aggro / tried to eat the other's food etc. Both were male / neutered eventually.

So, you never know. I'm sure it'd be fine, just need patience and attention.

Rama 9 just popped his clogs/was finally allowed to die.

Could be an "interesting" time to be in Thailand.

Been mushroom hunting in a forest today. Like, real double and triple canopy stuff.

Saw a few slender yellow and black snakes, a bunch of lizards, eagles, parrots and other birds I couldn't ID.

Found a bunch of edibiles, and a few possibile psylocybins. There's only one or two confirmed types of psilocybins in this country. I would like to find and record a new one. I don't think it's going to be terribly difficult, I just need to take enough samples.

What would you guys name a mushroom?

The king is dead...Long live the king

EDIT: Im entering the realm of drunky-stimmy-hangy-overy-mania. So please bear with me if my posts are a little off-key.

Well that was wee-urd. Got back from spending quality time with my belobed (*waves at mrs squirrel* <3) last night to be informed by the upstairs neighbour that the police had been around and the fire brigade had kicked the door in for them. Apparently somebody told them I'd not answered the door in weeks and there was a "funny smell" emmanating from my flat. So it seems I am missing presumed dead. As such, I may start haunting folk - pewter linings ftmfw! =D

The really strange bit is that literally everybody I know personally had been informed that I would be away from the flat for a few weeks whilst I visited home. Which kinda begs the question who the fuck was so concerned that I was elsewhere that they called the police? :?

My dearly departed had a fairly elderly cat when her kids insisted upon taking in a young one. Initially they hated each other and they fought like cats and other cats. They ended up doting on each other. I'd agree that it depends on temperament and patience.
