why is ecstacy quality so bad in North America?

Ummm -- exactly -- some of the highest quality MDA and MDMA in the world is manufactured among the multitude of islands of British Columbia Canada.

Sassafras trees can come from various places including America. Just dont get caught robbing bark or the Heat might question your motives.

MDMA doesnt always come from Safrol. Helional is one essential you can make MDA from and could synth MDMA from MDA. Transformer was also talking about a synthetic form of MD-P2P or similiar that is what produces the grey MDMA.

Safrol is harder for the DEA to control as its found from many sources and is easy to discuise under the cover of being an essential oil.

One of the bigger obstacles is Solvents such as DCM, Acetone, Nitro Methane, Toluene etc. DEA are on the look out for large orders. A couple of litres on ebay is of no major concern however if say on ebay you ordered sassafras bark, camphor, acetone, lye, DCM, toluene, distillation glassware, combined heater stirrer, pill press, PVA, dyes, Caffeine, manitol, and a copy of Strikes Book then I would not be surprised if ebay have a system to piece together these orders for suspicious and may report the DEA. It would of course be VERY VERY stupid to place an order on ebay of this kind.

What does amaze me however is you can order an entire drug laboritory on ebay from precursors, to glassware, to pill press to pressing agents. Its nuts really! I am sure the DEA are aware of this also. I would not be surprised if some of the ebay items via ebay are already watched.

SO much WRONG in this post 8( it is painful to read.

Synthetic means synthesized -- and ALL MDP2P is synthetic -- it does not exist naturally -- EVER -- so Transformer either misspoke, you misunderstood him, or he doesn't know chemistry

helional is piperonal and comes from safrole/isosafrole (and you can make it from some other chemicals like eugenol etc)

1. FIRST and FOREMOST -- MD-P2P is chemically the same regardless of whether it comes from safrole, isosafrole or piperonal or benzaldehyde (MD-P2P is the same thing as PMK - piperonal methyl ketone)

2. you can make safrole from Vanillin -- yup Artificial Vanilla Flavor ( you can get crystals of it on AMAZON) -- and your vanilla flavoring comes from lignin (wood pulp)

3. Regardless of whether you start with benzaldehyde or wood pulp -- you end up going through safrole/isosafrole because you need that nice benzene ring with those 2 oxygens and the little tail that beautiful methylene-dioxy group

4. Because you absolutely positively CANNOT get to MDMA without passing through the MDP2P station

5. PMK-gly is nothing but a glycidic ester of PMK -- so it magically becomes an uncontrolled chemical (a powder) -- conversion of the ester back to the ketone (a liquid) PMK (MDP2P) is a well known and uncomplicated process

RCs are waaaaaay cheaper and waaaay easier to obtain so they basically have replaced MDMA.

Actually it is Ocotea cymbarum oil from Brazil, but it can be synthesized from Vanillin (artificial vanilla flavor)

the huge drought in mdma from around 2008 over here was because they seized and destroyed a huge amounts of safrole extracted from (cinnamomum parthenoxylon?) in cambodia, so he wasn't too far off with thailand.
 
Never a shortage of good quality MDxx and LSD here in Vancouver. No better place in North America really. Pressed pills ain't the greatest like most of the continent though there have been some good ones

I guess to back peddle a bit in Canada its more of a population and quantity problem than anything as pressed pills aren't anywhere near as popular as molly which results in the info on Pillreports/ecstasydata being pretty slim. Doesn't help that no one actually seems to test their gear here. I find powdered/moonrock MDA is actually more popular than pressed MDMA pills which compared to anywhere else in the world is def abnormal.
