Bupe Injecting Suboxone Films

I can relate with those smaller doses hitting faster, I would shoot 1mg and start tasting it before I was even finished pushing the plunger down.

So another thing, those .3mg IM buprenex shots they give you in detox is ~1mg SL, or is IM shot less BA than IV too? I remember in the detox, those buprenex shots held me pretty good, but yes, they wore off quick, and when they took me off on day 5 and 6, I was sick and uncomfortable again. This on my release on day 6, I went straight to meet with my dealer. I still felt like utter shit.
 
I quickly looked up the IM BA, which was listed at 70% which is probably right. I'm betting it depends where you muscle it, as that actually does play an important role in absorption, at least with heroin I know. But yeah, you're right, 1mg SL is equivalent to .3mg IV.
 
The one time I shot sub without being sick it made my ass so itchy it was scary. Not really any different feeling than sublingual
 
What is a micron filter, I usually just use the cotton from cig filters. I've had no problem with injecting subs

Do you think he is in the clear or what do you think he should do.

I know its been awhile but I hooe you got that point removed! That can migrate and cause you a world of trouble. You can always say its been there awhile and you only did it once and that happened. Tell them whatever just get it removed before it really hurts you. Also, DO NOT get in an MRI machine! Or near one. Its a giant magnet that will pull that thing out in a very bad way.

Ive been on a pretty heavy bender these past two weeks...i was shooting over a gram a day of some great raw cuz i got into some money. anyway, i was on suboxone before that, and i only had a quarter of a strip left.

what happened next was by far the worst experience of my life. I did the shot, filtered nicely, and as soon as I took off the tie, I got this overwhelming feeling.8o I immediately felt vertigo, my whole body became drenched in sweat, I felt my stomach turn into knots, feelin massive upset stomach both ways, my arms and legs got that horrible aching feeling, and my heart began beating insanely quick. If I thought i was feeling a little ill before that, I was very wrong. I went from feeling kinda alright to the illest I ever felt in my whole life within 30 seconds. I started to panic, I put the other part of the strip i had left under my tongue, and crawled in my bed and began rocking. i ended up passing out i dont know how, and i woke up around midnight, feeling slightly better. i had the feeling you get when you detoxed for about 4 days, and you are starting to recover, but you got that residue sensitivity and aching. my sweats went away and my stomach started to feel better, but i was probably a 7 instead of an 11 on the sick scale. i couldnt sleep until about 4am. I woke up this morning and went and got myself some dope and did a huge shot, and then i felt better. im still feeling weak and fatigued since that whole ordeal.


so if you are going to shoot this shit, make sure you already have the suboxone in your system, and that you havent had a full agonist in quite some time. it would probably have been better if i was already on maintenance, and then i had done a shot like that after maybe 24 hours from my last dose.


just thought i would warn you guys, and let you know that the nalaxone does kick in.

the only reson this happened was because you still had to much H in your system
 
Well I'm not gonna tell you not to inject subs (of all things), but I just want to make sure you're well aware of the Law of Diminishing returns.

Applies to practically everything, especially suboxone. Thanks to the ~36 hour half life, high potentcy, binding affinity, etc, etc..

So whatever works for you...works for you. We all do the best we can.
That said I, personally, wouldn't damage my veins for buperenorphine.

There's probably some drugs I would inject if desperate enough, but bupe isn't one of em..Opana, Morphine, Dilaudid maybe....but I would honestly rather be sick than inject subs.
Fuck i'd completely re-configure my whole substance use....I don't give a shit, i'll turn to booze and speed and benzos and let the AMA and Obamacare determine whether they want a dysfunctional drunk/speed freak walking around, or functional hard-worker who takes opiates.

Those dirty cocksuckers are making many more than just my life difficult though...someday the bottom will drop out. They can eliminate pain medicine, they'll do what they want...but ultimately the people will decide, and the people hurt, by God.

^ I'm assuming you're not normally an IV user? IV users will shoot whatever the hell is lying around! The needle fixation becomes so strong, that the use of any other roa becomes absolutely dis-satisfying..

Anyway, to the point of the post. Recently, I've been deciding to give IV'ing these things a try. Here is my plan of attack with how I handle that. Let me first say, no I do not have micron filters. I wish I did have, and will probably invest in some as time goes back.

I take about 70/CC of water into a container. I then take 4mg(half) of a strip and break it down into as many small pieces as I can. I let that soak in the 70 units of water for at least 15-20 minutes without even touching it. Once 20 minute passes by, I start to stir the solution pretty well. At this point, I can tell the solution is still someone cloudy. I draw the solution up into my syringe. What I do next is clean off my original container, and squirt the solution back into the container, and add a brand new piece of clean cotton. I draw the solution back up, but still not as clear as I'd like it to be. So, I take that step one more time...squirt it back out, stir, and filter it back up through a new clean cotton. Making a total of 3 times. At this point, the solution is pretty clear. Maybe not crystal clear, but cleaner than any heroin I've shot in my day that's for sure.

I want to know if this is something people have tried. I know that since I don't have a micron filter, I do risk running into some issues, but because of triple filtering I feel like I've gotten everything out that I could of gotten. The reason I do this is because normally I take 8mg sublingually, and I figure if I can get away with injecting 4mg, I'll be saving more in the long run. It's not something I want to get into a habit of doing(HOPEFULLY).

Now, I gotta say...I do get a SLIGHT rush doing this. Not a rush like from a full opiate agonist, but a rush as in "woo I feel happy!" just like a suboxone buzz is like.

Basically, I ask you bluelighters if this is a smart thing to do. I've been reading and searching up on the internet and from everything I've found -- it states the suboxone films actually have much less filler in them that could cause potential harm. Has anyone tried this? What are your thoughts? I don't see much talk of people injecting the suboxone films, it's always the tab. And let me just make things clear for all the non-believers that we have running rampant. The Naloxone is INERT. It does NOTHING, even if injected. The bupe outcompetes the recepters and it's like it's not even present.

Just figured I'd spark some conversation. Mods, if you feel like moving this to another section please feel free to do so. I just couldn't find a threat that was dedicatedly solely to injecting suboxone FILMS. I see talks about tablets everywhere, but not much reports from users who are indeed injecting the films. So far with my technique, everything has been working well. I am not getting high, but I am getting that mild buzz/mood lift instantaneously.

Please DO NOT inject any form of Suboxone!!!! Trust when I say I know all about injecting it. I did a half at a time.. the film strips (8mlg) Suboxone 3 times daily for over a year. I like going in my feet/hands so I tried to hit myself on my lower ancle. Which is a bad choice just doing it there and ever at all!! Basically I want to spread the news because I am 100% sure that I did draw blood back and while I plunged the orange liquid into my ankle and it did not burn. Seconds later I gelt itchy, swollen, pink, sore, and it got worse as time went on. My two friends kept telling me it will go away. Not to seek a doctor. It hurt. This went on for 3 days. On day 4 I woke up and I noticed I couldn't put any weight on my left foot where I had injected suboxone. I then realized that I had a huge black bubble (that was later lanced open) the size of a quarter!! with in 3 hours of waking up. It was so bad and getting worse by the second. I could see my skin around it getting hard and darker red/purple. When I got to the hospital, I decided to tell doctors the truth so they could treat me properly. I wasn't the first to walk in with a drug related injury. It's actually not that unusual for an ER Doctor. They took me to a room right away because if how bad it was and how fast it was spreading. I got it lanced and the Dr squeezed out some liquid, packed it and was still in much pain!! I was told to go back in 3 days to get the packing out and a new one stuffed in the womb. So i did. Then 3 days later the same thing.. Packing out , Dr. Cleaned & squeezed some more and repacked it again... Then another 3 days later I finally got the packing out. Now I go to a specialist to basically scoop out all the dead skin around my huge hole on my leg. It's just not worth the risk. Everyone please if you continue to shoot up suboxone .. Be careful and get medical help as soon as u NOTICE an abscess popping up. Feels tender and looks pink at first. I would not have a foot if I waited one more day because I was scared. But I was most scared of losing my foot and again I did pull blood back in the needle. I did not feel it burn while injecting. It's terrible pain and of course I can't get any pain medication because I'm in suboxone. If I would of listen to my friend or too embarrassed to get medical help.. I would be missing a foot right now. Please remember it will never just go away. And don't wait as long as I did.
 
Am I the only IV heroin user who's cool with eating oxy, sublingual /rectal subuxone, etc. I don't have to inject everything Jesus .

And goddamn that sounds gnarly, how's your foot now
 
I don't even do any of that process now. I just put the box in the rig and wait about 10 mins and bang. Just wanted to tell ya what I done and how easy and quick it was. I have too because if anyone found out I live with; they'd die and go crazy on me. So I have learned to do it the quickest route and just get done! Just wanted to share that with you!!
 
Yeah. I got into habit of going the injection route but realized in the end it's a much better choice to just take it as prescribed. I feel like i did more when I was shooting. It was an activity to look forward so I did it when I didn't even need to redose. Plus it can be dangerous. I ended up hospitalized with endocarditis and it was THE WORST THING THATS EVER HAPPENED TO ME. I could have died. Spent 6 weeks in hospital on a morphine drip for the pain and anti biotics to clear out the infection in my heart. Oh did I mention I was hooked up to oxygen and shook the bed with fevers every night for the first 2 weeks. Just dont do it. I didn't think such a thing could happen to me. Well it did and it scared me straight. Still take the sub but never again will I use a point.
 
I know for a fact shooting subs led to an infection in my heart called Endocarditis. Spent 6 weeks in hospital on morphine and antibiotics. I could have died if left untreated. I don't know about hardening veins but I know what happened to me. The docs knew it but I was in denial.NEVER lie to your doc. I was ashamed so I lied about banging. Big mistake. Just don't shoot it. Enjoy it as directed.
