Sunday, however, the Ukip leader, Nigel Farage, attended a garden party with the media moguls Rupert Murdoch and Evgeny Lebedev, as well as the Tory leadership candidate Liam Fox. And the whole thing was documented on Twitter by Lily Allen.

Farage was pictured by the singer chatting to Murdoch and the host of the party, Lebedev. And a video she later deleted showed the Ukip leader smiling after she gave him a sarcastic hello.

For anyone that doesn't know, Lebedev owns The Independent. Murdoch owns Australia and the disunited Kingdom.

Farage has quit before. Without him UKIP are less likely to gain seats. This is good news for non racists everywhere.

Jonson had no chance of winning the leadership contest, he hasn't got the experience May has, he was too divisive to unify the party and is pretty much hated by large chunks of the population

I think it's tempting to assume Murdoch is some kind of puppet master, but I don't think that's the case. The Sun has some influence but it was pretty much just reflecting the mood of its readers.

They didn't exactly quit though. Boris was pretty much pushed into resigning from the leadership contest, and (correct me if I'm wrong) Farage is still a member of European parliament, he's just stepping down from UKIP because the party has basically served its purpose now.
 
what's clear is that none of these cunts have the slightest care for the interests of the populations they want to rule over and are just out to line their own pockets, it's utterly sickening and despair inducing.

Johnson had every chance of winning the leadership contest, he was easily the early favourite. He was pushed, partly by Gove but probably in combination with 'darker' forces. It's one thing to be Mayor of London (and he had to be bloody popular to beat Ken) quite another for your security services to allow you to be PM. I wouldn't be at all surprised if MI5 know something about Johnson. He wanted that job. Badly.

As for the puppet master...we'll see what happens with Farage. Pretty interesting timing with that garden party.
 
may is the likely winner, that leadsome woman sounds fucking awful and is just spouting lies she thinks people want to hear (as if she gives a fuck about workers rights and the NHS - pull the other one)

i hope corbyn is still in place to give blair his appraisal on the release of chilcot on wednesday.

He was stitched up. One of his top supporters had a screaming match with Gove in parliament last week shouting at him "Nobody believes your reasons" (for suggesting Boris couldn't lead the party). The MPs had to be pulled apart and dragged away from each other.

Furthermore, according to Norman Smith, Assistant Political Editor at BBC News, Farage will keep his MEP job for the next two years. He tweeted:

As an MEP, he receives €7957 a month. He is paid in Euros, which given the collapse of the pound (which he has helped to orchestrate with the Brexit vote), means he is one of the few people to have seen a salary rise post-Brexit. Presently Farage’s salary is worth £6665.19 a month compared to the £6246 earned by MPs.

Given Farage has been absent, or refused to vote, on the majority of debates at the European Parliament, it seems the decent thing would be for him to resign his position. Instead, he is proving to be the very essence of everything he claims to hate about Europe – a lazy, worthless bureaucrat, sponging money out of the institution he claims to despise.
