I visited in 2006. As soon as I stepped off the bus from Byron this huge woman came up to me advertising her weed/cookies.

I asked her for an eighth and she looked puzzled 'we only do 50s' - ok i'll have one of those.

Was led down some alley into a shed with two teenagers who were taking bong hits. Transaction done, my gf and I headed to this completely empty kid's playground, where we smoked a joint under a slide (don't ask why).

She then proceeded to pass out repeatedly and then spewed all over herself. Strong ass weed coupled with high temperature and dehydration. What fun that was.

The notorious lane. Millions of dollars of weed have been sold there. I know a lot of the old timers. Its interesting place. Those buses from Byron are packed every day and full of back packers going to score. Its big biz. This has been going on for decades. Better pot available in Byron but you need to know someone. Same for acid and mdma. Its a unique area. I spent over 20 years there.

Spiders in general are no problems. They exist but rarely anyone gets bitten. The big scary looking ones here called Huntsman are totally harmless. Snakes are a different story. No snakes where i live now but in Byron i had many run ins with the Eastern Brown snake. 2nd most deadly in the world. And those fuckers will chase you. I would wear jeans and thick tracksuit pants over them in the middle of summer when i grew dope in the bush. Better to be fucking hot than die in the middle of nowhere from a snake bite. But that is just Australia.

Opening a bottle of 2006 Dugat Py Gevery Chambertin. Fuck knows how much money tonight is costing me but fuck it. Two more fat lines and its burgundy time.

Google Australian Eastern Brown Snake. Most snakes are timid and will fuck off when you get near. Not browns. They will chase you and can go as fast as you can run. Nasty fuckers. I have lots of stories but my cocaine and wine + netflix is calling me.
