I guess everyone assumed you didn't use a pgp and meant it can cross the BBB on its own
Oh I've done it plenty of times without inhibiting P-Glycoproteine. In fact, it didn't add that much to the high to be honest. The only reason I don't do Loperamide on a regular basis is because it is expensive as hell if I bu OTC stuff. Other than that, I'd prefer it over a lot of other opiates (e.g. morphine really doesn't do all that much for me in terms of sedation and yes, I've dosed it very high many times). I have a very unusual body chemistry, but feel free to call bullshit on it anyway.
Everyone who has been name calling or belittling others in this thread needs to reevaluate why they are on Bluelight in the first place. You are all missing the point. Is it safe? No. Is it intelligent? No. Is it even remotely advisable? No, but we need to be able to discuss these things without people worrying about being flamed off the forum. If everyone is too afraid to post, we won't have any information to work with.
Well said and Very very true. This happens a lot when it comes to OTC drugs.
A part of me is seriously disappointed in humanity when I seriously contemplate the fact that we are having a discussion about IV lope. In all seriousness, I'm sure the consequences of administering a dose of lope in this absurd fashion would bring on disastrous results. Lets not and say we did.
Now what would make you so "sure" of that? I have done it plenty of times and never experienced any adverse effects. By the way, the constipation is just as worse on other opiates, significantly worse even on some. Loperamide is the first-line treatment for IBS, but we still resort to Laudanum for the worst cases. Simply because it's more effective in that respect.
Regarding m IV doses... I'm pretty sure I injected over 40mg in single shots, but it's been a couple of years - My old posts will tell you more about it. It surely isn't
safe, but I never experienced any ill effects, except for the usual opie sides.
EDIT: Word of warning, in case anyone gets the idea to use quinine to inhibit P-Glycoproteine. It is cardiotoxic and just because it is OTC in a lot of countries doesn't mean it's harmless. The therapeutic range is relatively narrow (meaning the distance between the effective and the lethal dose). Read up on it before you use it or ideally don't use it at all! It has recently been rescheduled in Germany and is not available over the counter anymore as far as I know (haven't checked that information myself) due to a few people having died from using it.
