MDPV Megathread 11: Still sorting all the porn.

It is probably the most dangerously compulsive and psychologically addictive stim I ever tried. And I've done both crack and meth, and had less problems with either of those in terms of sanity than I did with MDPV. Once coke became a problem it was fairly easy to leave it all behind when I detached myself far enough away from it I could see what it was doing. MDPV it literally had to drive me insane first, so I knew not to fuck with it again. 3 days on meth is a walk in the park compared to MDPV in my book.

I bet alot of bluelighters had problems with this stuff, in the beginning it was made to sound like the all mighty high of all stimulants. When infact it is the polar opposite; the worst mindfuck of all. Not the best high at all.

I hear u on that! MDPV go my book as the most compulsive & CRAZY stim ever on this planet. And I have (and not praying) but tried over 15 stims as it being my type of drug mostly. I had to go tem-perm Psychotic to obtain a place where I live now and where I have grow with the task of being a 'normal' person & feeling good about my self. And I do now. Yea man I've tried, cocaine, speed, meth, mephedrone, methylone, mdpv, 4-FA, NRG-1 (awful) but MDPV was the most powerful alure man, the first dose was always a great feeling but even the one dose sometimes towards it wearing off the paranoia had already begun. I have some eventful tales from the paranoia/psychosis but never has a drug been so not worth it. Spending money to have a bad time, and hurting your family as everytime it gets so out of hand everyone knows your on drugs. I know it is one drug for sure I will never use again. Cheers man btw :)

The sad thing is that I know this all too well from personal experience yet I still think about using all the time and i miss using the stuff BADLY.
 
I've never had MDPV and never will but it's weird how we humans continue to do things we know are bad for us and we don't even really enjoy... I have this problem with smoking although I've just invested 60 quid in an all singing all dancing adjustable vapouriser which I hope will help me quit the fags for good......
 
One of my closest mates got hooked on mdpv when it was available in shops here in Aus as a legal high. I tried it with him once. I thought it was ok but never had it again. My friend kept on using and after a while but became extremely withdrawn from all his friends and family. He became paranoid and also violent towards his father which was totally out of character. Then one day he went and bought some rope from the hardware store. Visited a couple of friends and then went and hung himself. There was a packet of mdpv on his desk when his family found him. I am glad i only tried it the once.
 
Perv isn't "aweful",it just depends on how ones using it! What bothers me is it's remarkably bad Reputation, when (ab)users call it the core of evil, calling it the Substance that's making them all crazy and all that stuff! I can't believe it, honestly...

True mate. My motto is 'never blame the drugs'. Once you start doing that, you're fucked...
 
Yep, that's exactly how it is. It's not the stuff to blame because of us not being able handling it properly, even if there are substances that are easier and way harder to handle, let's say like highly potent Benzodiazepine- and Opioid-Analogues or to name sum, stuff like the Dissociatives 3-MeO-PCP/PCE, and of course MDPV!

It depends on how we use them, if we use them, and it's not the drug to blame if the outcome is kinda, or simply put, a plain catastrophe!
 
Not sure I agree with that. While of course no substance is harmful if no one takes it, making a decision to take something that has been documented to have disastrous effects o the a large number of people and then has the same effect on the user and not saying that the substance is a problem seems a little nieve. While some people can handle some substance better than other many people have had utter catastrophe with MDPV and to say that has nothing to do with the substance doesn't seem right. Some things are just better off avoided.. Just my opinion anyway.
 
Oh yeah definitely does make sense. I just mean that some drugs are asking for trouble even before one take them.... Which is kind of what THCified said above really. TBH mate I don't really have a point to make Im just bored :)
 
Started recently on MDPV Megathread 9 and just finished Megathread 11. Gotta say, that was on hell of a ride fueled by what I can only call obsession these last few days. Thanks for telling your stories, it was really raw and better than some of the best literature I've ever read. My heart goes out to all the suffering this drug has caused people. I wish I could give you all a big hug after reading this. I had a brief fling with MDPV in early 2011. I can still remember the sensation of vaping it very clearly. It's one of the most vivid memories a person can form I think. I got the message very quickly that this wasn't gonna end well for me. I flushed it and didn't look back. Best decision I ever made.

Started reading this thread cause I was visiting the Bluelight shrine and became curious about a user Mugz that posted in Megathread 9. My eyes filled with tears to finish this thread by learning that Herbavore (one of the people on this site with the biggest heart) lost a son to it. I'm not a super active user with a high post count or anything so I don't know this stuff. I do recall reading stuffmongers thread back in 2011 and almost giving MDPV another go after that just to figure out the mystery. Fucking couldn't believe he was McAfee. You can't make this stuff up. This life is a strange strange dream. What can I say, a blessed beautiful one with a twisted sense of humor. Take pleasure in the simple things. <3

Damn Mate it really is a strange fuckin' dream and i oh-so hate it's twisted sense of humor, nowadays even to a degree i could cry out that loud till my loungs hang out,... and i saw pleasure in simple things once and would do further, but they won't let me anymore!
 
Just musing here, but I wonder if highly dopaminergic drugs regress you to a more primitive state of mind? Surely the 'reward chemical' evolved to reinforce behaviour predisposed to survival - I.e. heightened senses, heightened libido, dilated pupils for enhanced vision etc. etc.
