That's a plus. You'll need it. He has med-resistant HBP that requires 5 separate scripts/types of meds to regulate pressure and heartbeat. He can't take anything for pain beyond Tylenol...ever.
 
I have quite a bit of tramadol and Valium so will be fine - strikes when I least expect it though!

Of course until the ultrasound confirms I am speculating but it seems pretty classic... Feel for your husband, I have low blood pressure and can abuse all I want (er maybe).

I had them a two months ago, I have honestly never felt anything like it. I was in a bit of a state, they wanted to admit me into hospital but I opted to stay at home.

Get some Uralyt-U, drink it three times a day as directed and it really helps - if your stuck for cash then start drinking a lot of water liters and liters (not just a few glasses). My symptoms, started as a stitch in my left side, pain increased over a couple of days, pissing blood for a couple of days, pain was at the level of making me physically sick, unable to eat, felt like a knife stuck in my stomach.

Tramadol really helps but I found Ibprofen (600mg) works really well.

Thanks Bear - not that bad yet and hope I won't be. Unpleasant enough as it is but I'm still functioning.. Yes definitely need to drink more.... I'll get guzzling today! Cheers.
 
This time last year I was getting ready to have a rubbish night's sleep before heading to the hospital for my panproctocolectomy the following morning.

It's been a good year since though, thank fuck that bit of my life is over!
