Gibberings episode 0x000000c7(?) -- Party like it's 199!

Journey of life.
Just woke up And feeling good. Im reading through my journal that I created and I'm not going to post it ;) it's a bit odd in areas.

And now I need food but everything I try and eat, my body is all "yuk. That's fucjing gross".

How was your Monday?!

Was a long day as was up too early and had a late finish - was an OK day though, I just hate having to pack suitcases etc when I'm not travelling. It's a bit hot here at the moment so I spent most of the day next to the Air Conditioning unit and either chatting online or playing online (not the most productive of days). I haven't got that many plans for today - I'm going to go shopping later and cook myself a nice dinner (going to be seafood and going to be spicy). I may go for a massage later on this afternoon or (which is more likely going to happen) I may just get really wasted and not leave the house.

Is your journal online - nice to see a lurker become a fully fledged Bluelighter in the EADD section :) need a few new posters about the place. (Did you just edit your post?)

If your struggling to eat try something sweet - watermelon with honey etc (it must be lunchtime for you?)

Why did you have to pack the suitcase?!?
I know how you feel about packing without going anywhere. It's unfair as it is, going to the airport and not jetting off somewhere.

Sounds like you have a deliciously lazy day! Burn some of it on something productive, like washing. Then just burn through the rest with wine in the bubble bath. A massage sounds amazing! It's just the traveling to get there part that sucks, cause that requires pants. And driving somewhere.

Where do you plan on holidaying to?

Heater is on here! And yup, it's midday :) I've tidied up the house, my body is screaming for nutrients but it's still being a super fussy child. No watermelon here, but will try the honey! Will have to be on its own though cause the thought of putting bread in my mouth. Eww.

Drinking coffee outside with cigarettes. Coffee tastes like ground up dirt, but it's wet, hot and contains caffeine, so that's helping.

Edit: Just dipped a spoon into the honey pot. It tastes like nothing. Like thick, goopy nothing. I don't like it.

I'm a pro suitcase packer :D - do it so often its almost a routine (I have to admit I get clothes from laundry, tuck and fold into suitcase with hangers :D) life is too short to be rolling stuff up. I'm not sure about my next vacation - I was in Sri Lanka for a few weeks and it was hot n humid so I'm fancying somewhere a bit cooler (or hotter and dry) so thinking somewhere in Europe like Paris, Greece, Spain etc?

Not surprised you have the heating on - freezing for you now, Ill not need to dig my jumper and joggers out until Jan Feb when the temperatures really drop. When I was coming back from the airport this morning it was still 36!

Oh you're planning on traveling soon? Lucky! My last holiday was in Feb so I'm not getting my passport out anytime soon :(

Europe is beautiful and is a popular destination for Aussies. If you want a more relaxing destination though, I would settle for the Greek Islands. Sunny beaches, light foods and friendly locals.

It's freezing here in Melbourne! I pushed my body too far last night though and have a fever and feeling ill from motion sickness. Mind is still happy and calm though. Curled up on the sofa and sipping on soylent while my body focuses on battling the poison.

Did you get back to sleep after the airport dash?

I hope to be travelling within a month and I actually fancy Greece - should be very welcomed by the locals as they desperately need tourism at the moment (and not those just arriving in a dingy). The day after can be a bit rough on you, curled up and looking after yourself is a great way to spend it.

I'm off for a coffee soon and then picking up something to cook later on - I'll see whats freshest when I get to the market but I really fancy something like a crab curry or baked mackerel and salad.

Keep me updated with where you decide to jet to! A day on the sofa helped a lot and I'm feeling buzzed and happy. Still have motion sickness but I have no reason to move anytime soon!

Posted my journal. Feel free to delve into how my brain works ><

Now I crave a delicious coffee.

I have never heard of crab curry. Is it like chowder? What spices do you put in there? It sounds so strange!

I'm surprised you have not heard of crab curry - it's not like a chowder which is more of a soup. What spiced you use depends on how your cooking it really - I'm going to go with an mild curry base and may add some coconut milk.

Curry will be the standard affair - mustard and cumin seeds, curry leaves, full dried chilly etc fried to flavor the oil (either mustard or coconut). Then will be chili powder, cumin, turmeric, coriander etc.

Fresh will be garlic and chilies, onions and then tomatoes to make the sauce.

Crabs in at the end as they don't take that long to cook

Why do you have mice at work? Do you leave cake everywhere?

Do you need fresh crab for the curry? Or frozen shit? It still sounds odd. I enjoy lamb and chicken curries. Yet to try anything else o.0

SADIE HELLO! Good evening!!!!

Awww... they're just donating what they can.

xD

Claudia, it's a really old building with lots of small businesses in. The people who own the building don't want to fork out for proper pest control I suppose. If we complain too much we're liable to get chucked out.

Oh. I see the issue. That kinda sucks. Least mice poop is dry. Have you considered scooping some up and anonymously posting it to the chair of the board? Or building owners? It would be like "email your enemies glitter" except more excretion involved.

Fresh is the best (to be honest I haven't tried frozen) and you should be able to pick them up in your supermarket - AU has a lot of the Blue Swimmer Crabs (what I'm using) or you should be able to get the bigger mud crabs. If you like curries then give them a try - they are pretty mild so you need to go a bit easier with the strong spices (cumin especially).

They go great in a Thai curry - just make the curry as normal and then chuck them in for about 10 mins until cooked. There a bit fiddly/messy to eat so if your using turmeric/curcumin don't wear your best frock.

Afternoons bluefolk :)

I've just woken up, the alarm went at 6am for work this morning and I made the executive decision to sack it off.

Day one of my detox tomorrow, feeling confident..

Afternoon eadd :)

Waves to Madam Bear ;), Mr Gold (hugs) and a hello Claudia :D

I'm hopefully passing by as I have a ton of things to do, though I feel poorly with some bug I've picked up from playing with too many children and babies at the weekend. We watched the latest Jon Oliver last night and he did point out babies were virus magnets - yep, this is true!

xD

Lol, but being in an old building is a wonderful place to work. At my work they have just sold off and thrown us all out of a beautiful listed, rambling mansion house that not only housed us workers but loads of wildlife. Wasps in the attic, ghosts, rats and mice in the cellars, fungi in the loos and foxes and deer in the gardens. My old boss (decided on early retirement after a heart attack to be replaced by 4 new people) used to grow veggies in the garden and encourage us all out there to water them and help ourselves at lunch times..before our minds blew up. The joys of restructure eh :\

Get back on the horse Scotch, you know you want to x<3x

Waves back to Madam and wishes her the most wondrous of afternoons

Hah, the gardening bit sounds quite nice. I kind like our strange office in spite of the mouse poop I have to say.
