Any of you actively training or fighting?
Not now... I was about a decade ago until I realised fighting and Ehlers-Danlos are utterly incompatible lol.
What are you doing mate?
Your not a sufferer are you CFC..?
Boxed from 16 until about 35, (middleweight).. still have a bag outside but joints n tendons play up unfortunately..
Problem is I have a back injury I have been trying to overcome. I was moving a 1,300 pound rectifier bay (old 80's microwave technology with 800 pound transformers inside) up a flight of stairs with 4 other guys and it started to slip off the cart, I jumped under it and my torso was very twisted when I braced the weight beneath me and the floor. The weight was on the other side but I estimate 400-500 pounds tried to crush me into the ground while my spine was twisted. Ever since my back will give out at random and put me in a gimp like state for a few hours. It can be walking up a flight of stairs or tying my shoes but even lifting weights or doing labour work doesn't seem to trigger it besides the odd time I am careless. So I am hoping strengthening my back muscles at the gym will help, some of the trainers in there specialize in sports injury and such and they are aware of my back problem and they all agreed to stop me if I do something that may further injure myself.
I have been training / competing in ITF Traditional Taekwondo for about a year. I had my first fight as a white belt, but i fought a green belt and won. My second fight i was a yellow stripe fighting another green belt who i lost too. Dude kept dropping axe kicks..

Never actually fought in MMA YET but Amateur is certainly a possibility in the future.
I'm a brown belt in BJJ and have competed in over 30 sub grappling/BJJ tournies.
Also cross train in Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling and MMA but not as experienced in those styles.
