I loved Steve Jobbs but he was not without his faults. He neglected his daughter, was a slavedriver n strange. But he invented the iPhone, iPad n for that he'll always be a God. Hah. Yea, yea I know there's android n some think it's better. It may be better but it may not exist if it hadn't been for Apple. So yeah haters. Hah :) lol
Seriously though I agree he can't can't be compared with Jesus n Gandhi. People probably make that connection because he was quite spiritual n spent a lot of time in India, barefoot n fasting. He was a God of advertising n his profession but it's not the same as saying he is similar to Jesus.
People have got slightly confused regarding this lol.

Some people are obsessed with Apple. I was once one of them!

ColtDan and I were chatting about this in the comedy thread the other day - I've seen all of their podcasts together on JRE, but never really listen to Trussell's Family Hour either. FWIW I believe thecatinthehat is also a fan :)

Taking Jesus and Gandhi out of this I know this;

I read enough about Steve Jobs to understand they made a lot of mistakes when filming his life. It wasn't at all like that.
They swallowed the best 20 years of his life. Not a single minute!
His reconciliations, his humbleness and all the efforts to grow and prosper even though he had lost so much.
The movie was a joke. I've listened to a lot of long interviews from his friends and family.
Enough to believe he was not perfect but made a difference in the world. Including to his daughter.
For me it's not about Apple but to be able to reinvent yourself from scratch.

It's also shows an internal and immense victory, willpower to beat our own demons.
