EADD What Are You Munching On? v. Godlike steaks & shitting candles.

Lamb chop, buttered and minted peas, sauteed potatoes with bacon and onion.

Probably the most oap pleasing meal I've ever cooked, but it was lush. Cooking the chop perfectly pink was my act of youthful rebellion =D

bloody hell kate your not beta blockers as well are you ive stopped taking mine and feel a shit load better with out them

They upset my tummy, hence the pear.

I take 3 propananol a day. Anxiety was playing havoc with my blood pressure this last year so they've worked out ok for me. Appreciate they're not for everyone. Remember I'm 49 and have done a lot of stims over my life (done a lot of a lot 8() so they're a good safety net for me and my heart etc etc.

Hello you and big puss <3 Be well x

Thai green chicken chunks (not the kinda thing I'd normally buy for sarnies but half price so...) and cherry tomato sandwich on beetroot and apple bread (which is frikkin delicious incidentally).

Couple days back I had gnochi for first time ever (with some especially fine bolognesesque (only with loadsa veggies, few chillies an some especially paprika-laden chorizo). I do realise this is hardly Earth-juddering novelty to most but have always fancied gnochi and turns out I was correct in my suspicions of enjoymrnt of the lil blighters. Also had some yummy goat's cheese and red onion chutney flatbread with it.

That's why I have a small portion of fruit, or even carrot sticks etc to smooth them down. Does the trick for me. Yeh, I'm on that dose too.

Hope you feel better soon hun x

Edit: also helps you get your fruit n' veg nutrition into you, all good.

thanks hun i am a lot better at the minute sort of come back to life in a way everything is reset and new in my brain so apart from the memory of getting high ive no other real problems i wouldn't recommend how i got this way but it sure has worked benzo oding while coming down from 2 weeks with out sleep off a messed up escaline trip causing me to convulse and smash myself up a little with the being a trip to the hospital not to long ago :)

anyway back to food corn beef and cheese sandwich

I tried to quote Kate´s post but it seems to be impossible to some reason.

I´m also taking medication for blood pressure, not necessarily due to age as I started early on my 30s. Now I´m on my 40s.
But I take 2 pills a day and don´t think I adapt to a healthy died, although I try.
Anyways..
Be safe.
Erik

no i use tomato sauce instead love tiger bread to make them with

Sounds fab, but I'd switch the red sauce to a fresh tomato - heaven of a sandwich, with tiger bread yum! :D

You make some good "pieces" as we say here in Scotland :)

Enjoy x

Glad you approve, m'dear :)<3

Have actually been putting loads of extra veggies in things wot I cook of late - even got through a load of bananas this past week (admittedly as part of various puds featuring custard and chocolate brownie pudding but... no buts, just yum =D). You'll be pleased to know my next cooking sesh is to feature onions, garlic, peppers, leek, tomatoes and carrot as the vegetable smatterings therein.

Dins tonight was significantly less healthy - battered cod and chips. Had a craving for fish 'n' chips and frozen "jumbo" battered cod was half price at Co-Op t'other day so had that and bought a small portion of chips from the chippy on the way home tonight. Always end up disappointed when I buy chippy chips. The flavour's good but the texture really isn't at my local chippy. Waaaaaaaaay too soggy and anaemic. I know soggy and anaemic is the traditional way of serving chippy chips but I much prefer a bit more colour and crunch on mine. And at £1.60 for a small portion I should try to remember this more often when I get my rare (but fairly insistent) chippy cravings.
