almost bbq season

drunk people shouting in the street in broad daylight, someone should ban that filthy drug.

No I'm not. I asked cuz I want and need and am beggin for an ounce of help right now. But I know most people here will think I'm just looking for attention so what does it matter. you'll probably alll be dead happy when i'm gone

Always some insightful, funny and genuine points you've had to contribute over the years that I've followed these forums Pagey. Hope it works out alright for you. :)

there would probably be much better food in the uk if people weren't pissed and eating kebabs the whole time.

The next worst thing is navigating pavements splattered in vomit the next day.

its a totally antisocial drug for anyone who doesn't do it. Like mephedrone is.

Surely a carpet is a better thing for a child anyway? Plus the cats prefer them anyway.

I fekin hate carpet myself and the dog would have ruined it a 12000 (insert other arbitrary number) times

Not sure about the child thing, carpet definitely harbors more dust and and inevitably house dust mite both of which I was highly allergic to as as child, that said both the kids rooms have nice big colourful rugs.

AS for fitting laminate flooring, i'd suggest a man is not required, I'm pretty much certain any able bodied female could manage the job

Ach well, horses for courses. Our last house had wooden floors and (open) stairs everywhere, and no matter how much you swept and hoovered and dusted, there were dust bunnies and dust and fur all over the place. In addition to that, I hated the extra noise with every footstep and the potential for everything fragile shattering to pieces when it's dropped. Give me carpets and a hoover every time (except in the kitchen and bathroom, obviously).

Dogs and carpets can be a bad mix, I know that too. I think a mixture of tiles, carpet, and wood is the best solution.

I like laminate because I like brushing the floor lots! But with pets you'll never stop brushing up fluff.

How's that last 1% of window coming along Felix??

The last 1% of the window took 99% of the time. By the end of it I was brushing off minuscule flecks that'd either blown there new or had come off the duster. I knocked it on the head when I realised that taking a couple of co-codamols for my back was more important than going for the remaining 0.00000001%. =D

Gotta love that MXE. :D
