I've carpet in me lil' girls room. I think children should always have carpet, although I'm nit fond of them - I am fond of kids having carpets. Kids should have cosy suroundings. Warm, cosy n safe. That's just me lol

Edit: ignore my bollox as I'm having a drink (long day picking laminste lol) but yea i always wanted carpet in lil' girl's room, bought the wrong laminate off the net so until this year she had laminate but when council told me pull it up well it accidently all got broke n she had a lovely pink carpet. My girl will always be cosy n safe as long as I'm alive :)

They had a white thing going on with a walnut laminate, that's what I'm getting (one wall Ruby starlet) aint felt this excited in aaaaaaages. Cornflower white for stairs.

Not sure about the child thing, carpet definitely harbors more dust and and inevitably house dust mite both of which I was highly allergic to as as child, that said both the kids rooms have nice big colourful rugs.

AS for fitting laminate flooring, i'd suggest a man is not required, I'm pretty much certain any able bodied female could manage the job

I've tried with the stuff upstairs but when it cost me £500+ I'd rather my bruv do it than mess it up. It's a lot of money to waste even if it was five years ago. This is costinf me £338 so I'd rather someone who knows what they're doing fix it. Plus I'm not the best at chopping it hahaha

However it's ace that you're thinking of gender as equal n you're right.
